Would it be appropriate for a guest to apply for a DAS pass if they guest gets overstimulated by being exposed to loud sounds, certain smells and lights, or being in very close proximity to others for prolonged period of time and needs a quieter and more sensory friendly place, room, or environment to wait in to avoid a meltdown or a shutdown that is caused by a disability?

You can certainly make a request for DAS. Whether or not it is granted is not something anyone here can determine. You should be prepared to explain how those issues impact while in a queue (is it all queues, certain queues, etc.) as well as any ways you have of helping yourself in similar situations (like using earmuffs, etc.). Be aware that Disney doesn't provide a place to wait that is free of any such stimulation; DAS simply allows one to wait outside of the queue. Many of those issues could occur outside a queue as well. Good luck!
