DAS on Fox news

True. Already said that the add on As low and MK would buy it in droves at $200...which would be about breakeven of 10 visits and where most MK pricing is set at.

Comparatively X10 visits is way high compared to other theme park ticket : pass costs.

Up to Disney to set the costs. OP on the video has a point about retuning MP option. FP+ has been Resurrected. Not outlandish to think MP return too.
My understanding of the video was that she wanted it for disabled guests with APs, not for everyone with an AP, but I could have misunderstood.

Well as I said I don't disagree about the pondering of add on I'm not disagreeing with you on that, it doesn't need to be repeated.

BUT what I am saying is that Disney priced their product far too low, they have now had a lawsuit with a settlement attached to conditions of an AP and they would want to look at does it make good financial sense to bring an add on back especially in the wake of everything that has happened since the MP add on was around. You're correct it's up to Disney to set the costs, I'm not sure why that needs to be said, but that plays a role in whether they would choose to bring an add-on back.

As they should. No place for that, especially in this forum.

Yes. Bring it back at $300+. Disney will make a killing no matter what. The PR will have their job to spin this if it's any higher than that.

I think it's a general sentiment among long held MK/AP users. We were not happy with G+ conversion, just like FP+ users. Being a paid product, reverse exclusion would make absolutely no sense.

I just watched the video again, and she specifically was asking for it to be for disabled Magic Key holders.

"Instead I say that Disney puts a lightning lane service for those who are disabled and it's a one time purchase for a year let's say..."

And that's wrong. As I said before, the video helps little in the conversation for all stakeholders.

Most folk have egocentric perceptions. That's fine and valid feelings. Policy making it is not.

Agree 100%.

We've never been to DL, most likely never will go, so although I'd heard about MaxPass, I really didn't know how it worked. If Disney chooses to offer it to passholders again, more power to them.

MaxPass worked well at DL for a number of reasons but part of it was also that it was with Legacy FP still existing there at DL and you could use the FP kiosk at the ride if you wanted to or book a ride via the app with MaxPass. MaxPass basically added the app component that WDW FP+ had, you could make selections on your phone, you could then pick up cancelled selections which were not something Legacy FP had. because MP used a different pool of ride time availabilities so if you cancelled a selection it went back into the pool for someone else to pick it up if they wanted to.

You purchased MP either as part of your park tickets or at the gate but no selections could be made until tapped into the turnstile. There was a downside in that if the app crashed then MP became useless. That happened to us on one of our days and they shut off the ability to purchase it several hours after park opening due to that.

But Genie+/ILL removed Legacy FP from DL, Genie+/ILL by most accounts still works better at DL than it does at WDW due to a few differing rules and different clientele. I don't think there's any going back to Legacy FP going back to DL.

That's not the point being made.

Just like FP+ process being Resurrected as MPLL, same for resurrection of MP as MPLL as an add-on option to MK....that's the point.

DLR pass holders had a very good add-on option that was removed. People would love to have that back, even with the G+ form. Just have the option

But it was MY point. I was explaining how MP worked to a poster who knew what it was but didn't know how it worked. Nothing more nothing less.
