I tried to get a video chat this morning and was immediately logged out, at 7:00 am, saying that they are full for the day. How the heck am I supposed to ever get a DAS planned it their 7am-10pm window is booked solid in less than 1 minute? My daughter is school age, so we can only do this on weekends.

I could seriously cry...

Same thing happened to me at 7:00 am. Said conversation closed by agent. At 7:04 I asked if I am still in line and got a message saying if you would like to pre-register please continue to wait and stay close by. Not sure if this means I am still in line.

Any signs of life on your end?

It sounds like a tech glitch on their end not that it makes it any better (also in the queue but joined later).

best guess is there was a memory overload with everyone getting on at once. And that’s the systems response to an error

Yes done. Got a message at 8:45. Connected to video chat at 9:30. Finished with ride passes at around 10:30.
We logged in to the chat at 7:18 am, connected about 1:45 pm and then went straight through. Done at 2:45 pm

So if you want to know how my day's going:

Spent most of the morning having to check and log back in. Nearly missed the set up message because of that.

Finally got in at 5:00 pm. Had the video chat done with that by 5:30. despite Chrome deciding not to work properly for a good 5 minutes and had to switch to my phone. Went through Epcot for day 1 found out nothing worked with me due to schedule conflicts of arrival time and nothing being available past 6 for that part for that day.

Got told at 6 pm that they needed to step away for a bit for a break. And they would be back. Left two messages for when they came back since I hadn't done anything beyond look at the first day. And had a question about how booking through the app when on property works.

That was 45 minutes ago. And while the messages are being sent. They aren't being read.

I get there short. I get they need breaks. But being left on read for closing in on an hour now. Is starting to get a bit more than frustrating.

I’m not sure what your question about booking DAS Return Times once you are on property is, but it may be answered on This post on the WDW DAS Changes Summary thread near the top of this board.
If you can’t find the answer there, just ask. My family and quite a few other posters have been there since the changes went live and may be able to answer.

Thanks that did help and corrected some misinformation I had gotten from the CM. Side note something helpful I found that I didn't see mentioned there. (though I might have missed it). The advanced selections can be right on top of each other.
