As someone who is susceptible to complications from the heat I would suggest that you leave the parks by noon and not return until after 4. We have lived in Florida for over 30 years and November can be very, very hot especially for someone who is not used to it. If your father actually passes out when he gets too hot you may want to come in the winter when the sun isn’t as strong. It takes a significant amount of time for to lower someone’s body temperature and keep it lowered. For me, once I get overheated I stay warm the entire day no matter how much I drink or stay in the shade.
The lines typically aren’t any warmer than the rest of Disney and many times are actually cooler due to the big overhead fans found on many stand by lines.
