DAS during MNSSHP

No. We go to two parties a year - for the last decade and you can not use it.

Are the lines for rides long, more than 10 minutes? How does Disney accommodate those that can't handle the lines if they can't get s return time?

Most lines are not bad but there will be longer lines for the rides that are very popular like 7DMT. Also if you want to meet specialty characters like Jack & Sally or the 7 Dwarfs or Jack Sparrow - they have hour+ lines.

There are no accommodations at the party. I think the assumption is this is something extra we chose to pay for to enjoy the special parade, fireworks, trick or trick, dance parties, new characters and the attractions are there to ride with shorter than normal lines. We do just fine at the party and if a line is too long for us then it is something we wait and do on a regular MK day. With all the party stuff there isn't enough time to ride everything anyway.

Note you can enter the park at 4 pm with just a party ticket, no day ticket needed. During those three hours you can get 3 FP+ with your party ticket and use your DAS. This could allow you to get about 4-5 rides done.

Thank you for all the info. This is our first party so I wasn't sure what it would be like. I'm glad to know in advance so we can prepare, expectations, etc. I think we'll do ok without and will try to get our rides in before 7. Thanks again!!

I agree with all of these comments.

The lines in general are not that long for most things because most people spend their 'party time' on things that are only available during the party. The majority of people are not there for the rides/attractions because they could go to them in a non party day.
Going early and using DAS and Fastpass for the things you really don't want yo miss (as HopperFan suggested ) is a very good strategy.

The reason they don't use DAS (or GAC before it) is that the Fastpass entrances are not in operation, so there is no way to give a Return Time.
