I posted about our experience using the DAS at Disneyland in March and we are here again so I thought I would share my thoughts once more.
For anyone who has not read what I have posted before, we have an autistic son and this is our sixth trip here with him. We used the old GAC card on our first four trips and the das in March and we are currently using it on this trip.
Like last time, I have found the new system to work well if you use it in conjunction with the FP system. The CMs have all been quite pleasant but then again, I try to be as pleasant and positive in all my dealings with them.
We went to CA today and in 4 hours we were able to ride 8 rides and have lunch. We arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 opening, got coffee and waited for rope drop the new net right to the Chamber of Commerce and got a RT for RSR which had a 40 min wait. We then went to Monsters and walked right on. After that we went to Cars Land and grabbed ToT FP on our way by. We still had a few mins to wait so we went on Luigi's and then went on RSR. After that we got a RT for TSMM and went on ToT. Then it was off to Toy Story and after that, we got a RT for Soarin' and rode Little Mermaid. By then it was time for Soarin' and then lunch at Flo, grabbing a time for Grizzly on the way. After lunch it was off to get soaked and then it was definitely time to go back to their hotel to rest.
That was how we did eight rides in four hours and used the DAS along with the FP and short standby lines.
Tomorrow is out second full day and I hope it goes as well as today.
