If you have a DAS pass is there anyway you can get on the Remy Ride without doing the virtual queue or is the only way to ride if you get in the virtual queue?

ALL guests who want to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure need to get into a Virtual queue.
Accommodation for DAS occurs AFTER your Boarding group has been called.
The first chance to sign up for Virtual queue is 7 am. The second opportunity is at 1pm, but you must be in EPCOT to sign up. It has still been possible to get into the Virtual queue recently for an hour or 2 after 1pm many days - no guarantee, but may be possible.
We just got back from WDW and rode Remy on 2 days. This is a link to one of the posts I made about our experience

It's my understanding that in order to try for a Remy BG at 1 PM, you need to have entered EPCOT that day some time prior to 1 PM, but you don't have to still be in EPCOT at the time you're trying for the BG. I haven't actually tried it myself, but I've seen numerous posts since Remy opened confirming this.

You could pay to ride it.

We rode twice. First day we got a boarding pass (virtual queue) and second time we paid for Individual Lightning Lane passes.

It may have been that way earlier, but that is not what my family saw on the My Disney Experience app we were at WDW.

This is what the WDW website Virtual queue page information says (my bold):
« Distribution Times for the Virtual Queues
You can request access to the virtual queue starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your Disney Park Pass reservation—before you leave your Disney Resort hotel or on your way to the park.

The virtual queue will reopen daily at 1:00 PM for anyone inside the applicable park who wasn’t already able to join a boarding group earlier in the day. You must be inside the applicable park to access this second virtual queue opportunity, and access to a boarding group is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Guest can only enter the virtual queue once per day for each attraction. »

The part I made red - did you mean the second opportunity?

Make sure you let them know you have DAS when you're boarding group gets called - we had no idea and ended up standing in the "standby" line (which isn't really standby) for almost 40 minutes.

Yes.
Guests who are using DAS or paying for Individual Lighning Lane access use the Lightning Lane. All other guests use the Virtual queue Standby Lane.

As you approach the attraction, the Standby Lane is on the right and the Lightning Lane is on the left. Let the CM near the entrance know you are using DAS. That CM will scan for DAS and then send you to the CM at the entrance of the Lightning Lane to scan for your Boarding group. Then, your party will be allowed into the Lightning Lane for a short wait.

I'm here, with DAS, and got boarding group 10... They make Remy sound SO hard to get into, but really, it was essentially a walk-on. They were up to boarding group 21 before the main gate even opened. Don't worry about REMY, wake up, hit the buttons, get a number, go ride.

I tested this today to see if what the app said was true about having to be inside EPCOT when trying for a Remy BG at 1pm.

I had an EPCOT park reservation today and entered EPCOT in the morning.
I left EPCOT before 1pm and took the monorail to the TTC.
At 1pm while at the TTC I was able to obtain a Remy BG.

So despite what it says on the app, you don't have to be inside EPCOT to try for a BG at 1pm. You must have entered EPCOT some time earlier that day, but you can leave for a break/lunch/etc. and still try at 1pm.

My husband and a friend traveling with us had tried it and it didn’t work outside the park, but they tried much closer to when Genie first rolled out.
