Does the DAS allow you to skip the pre-shows? Being held in a small room with a crowd of people sounds nightmare inducing to me and it got me wondering is there a way to bypass this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify I have only used the Das recently when pre-shows were not a thing.

for the most part no I have been allowed to skipRNR pre show and HM

The DAS has nothing to do with it you just have to talk to the CM at the ride and it is up to them

As other posters mentioned, requesting to skip the preshow is not part of DAS.
Besides staffing and how/whether there is a pathway that can be used, it allso depends on if the preshow is just entertainment or has safety information or boarding information that guests need for the attraction.

Thank you for the information. I will check in with the CMs at the attractions that I have concerns about.

I have been looking into some of this bc of my granddaughter I'm bringing to Disney soon. I've been told you can bypass the stretching room at Haunted Mansion. You just have to ask a castmember for the bypass.

While it is possible to have that request granted, I can say from experience that it is not guaranteed.
