I haven't used MagicBand+ or any version of it. But I am familiar with the DAS functionality on the app.

I'm assuming each member of my group needs their own MagicBand to "check in" at each ride throughout the day, correct?

Last year when I used DAS and the app, I had to swipe to have the cast member scan each ticket/barcode for each member of our party when we returned for our time in the queue.

It would be amazing if the whole party could check in with one tap of one magic band linked to all the accounts.

We were there on Friday and checked in with a tap.

The + features really are not worth the premium over a regular band, but since plus is the only option out here it’s a nice thing to have.

I’d never buy it for a day ticket though.

Each person will have to scan into a ride. Since you are the DAS holder, you will need to scan first and then the rest of the party. You can scan in either using a magic band +, a ticket, or a phone. Different members of the party can each use a different means to scan in. We have used MB and MB+ at WDW many times and love the convenience of using the bands to scan in.

How do you use your DAS on a non Lightning Lane attraction?

At WDW they have hand held devices on non lightning lane attractions to scan, is it the same at DL?

Just back using the MB+ and DAS. Have to say, the time to reset between scans is ANNOYING. literally 2 secs between MB+ while the phone barcodes would flip <1 sec with each.

But the proverbial cat was out to the bag and DS loves the MB+ tap/scan function and the haptic feedback afterwards. We're stuck. Toward the end, we had him tap and I scan the remainder on the phone.

Have to say, when leaving the rides, really fun to get the see you later flash -- really liked the webslingers one. (though we JUST missed top 10 for the day by 600 points).
