Does anyone darn stuff anymore or are you like me and just toss it if it's got a hole in it?

I keep everything..
DW tosses it when I'm not home...:jester:

Depends on where the hole is and if it will still look good after it's been fixed. If it's just a seam that has come undone I most definitely just sew it back up. Socks, underwear, stuff like that, they get trashed when they become holy or threadbare. :)

I've never darned in my life, but I remember my Grandma doing it to my Grandpa's socks. She'd put the sock on a lightbulb and darn it that way. :)

Sometimes a favorite pair of jeans are machine darned, but socks and underwear get the old heave ho!

Considering I just made DS a vest with iron on seam fusing, I think you all can guess my answer. LOL

No darning here

Depends on what it is... and how big the hole/rip is.

Put put all the things that need to be darned in the circular file, another words i throw it out. Who has time to darn, working 6 days a week I am lucky I find time to get on here :D

Drat!!!!

Wait! What was the question?? I have soooooo tired from checking on my sheep herd, I have to shear them later today and then I will spin their wool and make beautiful coats of many colors for my family....................................

But first I have to run to Wal-Mart and buy some new socks and underwear!!;) :D
