It's our last day and we all feel really yucky. We darted out of Mama Melrose pretty fast when my youngest refused to eat complaining of tummy troubles and decided to skip Fantasmic. :sad2: We depart tomorrow morning so no fantasmic this trip. We really wanted to do more at HS but no way we can ride or even walk around feeling this way.

It's still all good though. We had a great trip. The week before Christmas is really a low crowd time to go. Even today wasn't too crowded. FP+ worked surprisingly well for us and we even got to ride some things more than once just doing standby. MB's worked really well for us too. DS had issues with park entry but I think he was scanning the wrong finger. They resolved it quickly by sending an iPad over to scan his band.

Interesting fact to know is that plastic MVMCP tickets will pull paper fast passes in all parks. We tried it. :scared:

That's good to know the week before is not so crowded. We were there nov 13-20 and my DH was bummed hat not all resorts were decorated and said in 2014 we will be going closer to christmas.

Thankful it hit you towards the end of your trip instead of the beginning. Also, hope everyone is much better by Christmas. :)

I understand. Today is our last day and DD and I were going to be there at 7am for EMH and get a lot done before lunch since it is to be packed today and she started throwing up at 4 am. So here I am typing this. She is doing better now but it has put a wrench into the day so far. Hopefully she will be fine today because of the lovely ADR policy we are going to be out a lot of money and have dining credits we cannot use plus Dessert Party tickets.

I agree the week before Christmas is awesome. Low crowds and we had great weather! One of the best trips yet!

We just got home Friday night (actually Saturday morning), and I agree that the crowds were awesome. We rope-dropped every day but one and used our FP+ in the evening. It worked out really great. Our first morning at MK (12/15), we literally walked onto every ride in FL from opening until 11:30 a.m.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. We escaped with no sickness. My youngest had a slight runny nose the first day or two, but it resolved quickly. The weather was awesome.
