What do you do when . . .
I ordered a Pal Mickey from the Character Premiere Outlet in Orlando (because they are clearanced for $13.99) and had it shipped to my house. When I received it, it was really them because the store sent TWO. I only ordered one, I checked the receipt and my bank account, and I only paid for one.
Should I call the store and tell them the mistake and offer to send it back (at their expense, of course, I won't pay return shipping)? Do I do nothing and just keep it? The last time this happened was right after my wedding when Belk (or was it Macy's) sent me three extra place settings of my everyday dishes. I called that time (total value was close to $100.00, I felt compelled). The lady there said, no, you paid for six. Really, I told her, I didn't, and I would know, b/c I paid cash! Well, she said, you just got married, right? Yes. Then I'm sure you need them - just keep them. It was going to be too much trouble straightening the paperwork out.
So, I am going to be in Orlando in eight days. Do I call Character Premiere and tell about the mistake or not?
(My husband says I would be crazy to call.)
