I almost asked out my cousin once
no, really. I met this lovely young redhead in my chorus class while attending the U. of New Mexico; Shannon was her name. Well, as time went on, she broke it off with her boyfriend. So, after a period of waiting, I decided to ask her out. Well, wouldn't know it, fate stepped in. My grandmother, my mom's mom, passed away and I drove down for the funeral. Everyone knows that the only time the whole family ever gets together is at weddings and funerals, this was no exception. So Im at my parents house talking with my Aunt Quimby and Uncle Irby, yes, those are their names. Aunt Quimby had told me, I have a granddaughter at UNM. I had never met the whole side of that family so it wasnt surprising to me that I didnt know. I said, Really, whats her name?, not thinking I was actually going to know, seeing as how there were something like 20,000+ students at UNM. Aunt Quimby said, Shes a beautiful redhead by the name of Shannon. (Insert long pause here) My Uncle Allen, my moms youngest brother, asked, Do you know her? To which I replied, I sure do. My heart sank. I couldnt believe it. That beautiful redhead that I was going to ask out turned out to be my cousin. Talk about kissing cousins.

It was actually kind of cool. I had heard of people finding family members in the strangest of ways, but never thought it would happen to me. Well, that's my story. Sorry to have gotten off topic, but this had jogged my memory and I had to share.
Ok, so keep up with adding to your count, here's the next question: so now that you've cried and you DH and DS got their haircuts, what's the first ride you like to hit?
