Dark Transfer to cover light transfer?

I did a design with light transfer paper on a grey shirt and it did not do good, you can see the grey shirt thru the design. Can I redo it with dark transfer paper and put it right over the other one? Will it stick? Anyone done this before?

I have the same question. I have shirts that I did last year with the light/clear transfer paper, and they all cracked and were awful before we even wore them or anything. So, the shirts are fine, but not useable because of the designs. I would love to be able to re-use the shirts instead of buying new ones if possible. So, would it be possible to iron-on a dark shirt type of transfer? I don't know if it would stick. I hate to waste the transfer paper, but I hate to waste the shirts, too.

Thanks for any insight.

I ironed a dark transfer over another dark transfer and it worked fine. It's not perfect but no one else other than me would probably notice. If you look closely, you can see the outline of the first iron on (because they are different sizes) and it's not as smooth as the iron ons that have nothing underneath them. So, I didn't answer your question but I was able to iron over a dark so you can probably do it. Good luck!
