At least for me :confused3 It was OK. That's it. Yeah, Heath Ledger was good but... It really was just another Batman Movie. If you like comics or are a big Superhero fan, you'll probably love it. I thought it was silly, boring and Loooonnng.

Anyway, JMO. :hippie:

:goodvibes Alicia -- I *am* a big comic book and Batman fan, and I thought it was long. Ignore the flames (if any). Reviews are, after all OPINIONS!!

oh no.....

I sat through the last one and about 4. 5 hours into it, John leans over and says....."it's about half way through."

Apparently, I said something that I cant repeat here and he laughed through the last 10 minutes.

oh no........another long Batman movie.

Did you like it? And don't worry I'm wearing my flame resistant jammies. :thumbsup2

I didn't make it through the last Batman movie. ;)

I'd love to know what you said. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I liked it too but I would not rush out and see it again. I really started getting antsy at toward when I thought it should end. I am going to Mamma Mia next week and can't wait for that.

Me neither. I fell asleep about an hour into it, and was woke up by my dad at the end. Apparently there was a lot of snoring going on in the theater, so he thought I should catch up on my sleep LOL!

we liked it, we're going back to see it again tonight because DD couldn't go with us last week...
so it's DH, me, DS and his girlfriend, and DD and her boyfriend this time (last week it was the first 4 in that list)..

we'll be doing the VIP theater again....so i really don't care what movie i'm seeing when i'm in there (i even enjoyed sex and the city :scared1: there)....
on the other hand, there is no way i'll sit through a movie with abba music no matter how comfortable the chairs are and no matter how much food i can consume.....i have my limits and abba is a very very very hard limit....

You didn't like SITC...:faint: Obviously, we could never be friends. :sad2:

j/k ;)...(kinda) :teeth:

I had (and still have) no desire to see The Dark Knight. I kind of enjoyed Batman on TV because it was just so bad...is was funny. The Batman movies are just too dark and gloomy for me. If I want that kind of depression -- I'll just get weighed and save myself $10! :rotfl2:

i did like sex and the city the movie.....but in retrospect, when someone asked me incredulously, how i could possibly have liked it, i said it must have been the chair......anyway, i love charlotte, and she was as sweet and cute as ever....

as for the dark knight - we saw it again last night and i liked it even better the second time....this time i didn't have my eyes closed half the time (i was so worried that the violence would be graphic the first time we saw it) so i saw lots of stuff i didn't see the first time through....
all 6 of us enjoyed it.....of course that movie theater helps...those chairs are sooooooooooooooooo comfortable....they also give out blankets (like on airplanes)....so you're totally cozy....i was all curled up in my chair (and there was still room for another person to join me, had they wanted to....the coolest chairs...i wish i had one in my house to watch tv in...

ARE YOU NUTS????

THE FILM WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVED IT - My DH - Not so much - too long for him!!!!

OK. So far I have been disposed to like you, but this is just getting cruel!! When *I* saw The Dark Knight, I had the typical USA stuff to put up with: sticky floors, idiots who have to web surf or text message with their ultrabright oversized cell phone screens distracting my vision, chair being kicked, $8 for 25 cents' worth of oversalted popcorn, blah blah blah... I will not covet...I will not covet...

(I'd "roll on floor laughing" but don't want to be covered in jujubes and popcorn...)

do NOT get me started about those ()*(*%*$&*^(*&^$^%# people and their ultrabright phone screens.....
i don't know if there were any in this theater, as the chairs are very far away from each other (one row from the next), but when we saw Wall-e a few weeks ago, it was in a regular (exactly as you describe above) theater...and the text messager in front of me NEVER stopped the ENTIRE movie  ...i made a few very loud comments, but it didn't seem to phase her....soooooooooooooo annoying.....
and there was no getting away from her - every single seat in the theater was filled....
