I was there last night, but I don't participate. Crowds were pretty crazy, but it was also a Friday night.

We were there Sept last year. We don`t dress up but we do it for the great savings. You get convention rates on the Resort Hotel rooms and admission tickets. We paid $250 for a $305 five day park hopper and $257/night for a GCH room. It was a little more crowded on Dapper Day but the rest of the week was nice. This year I think hit Max because Dapper Day was on a Friday ,no APs were blocked out and it was the last friday before Mickeys Halloween Party starts which closes the park at 6 or 7pm to non party guests

We've done three Dapper Days. Since they moved the spring one (I'm never doing the sweltering fall one anymore), I'm not sure if we'll participate going forward.

I agree. May has been hot in my experience. I'm sad they moved it out of Feb/March. What were they thinking!!!!

I'm not quite sure but I will tell you Friday was miserably hot. Fall in California is always hot.

Yep, last Sept we were MELTING for Dapper Day!!!

We went for sprind DD in March and fall DD 2014. Though the actual event day is crowded, it is still fun. The rest of the weekdays surrounding it seem very low crowds. I would imagine with spring DD moving to the last weekend in April, the weather will be a lot warmer and more crowded. I am hoping since they moved spring DD a few months that they will push fall DD a few months and fall 2016 will take place in November. I would love that!

May can be hot, but is typically cooler than September in my experience. September seems to have too many hot days.

All week this week was busy. One CM said that although it wasn't summer busy it was busy. The slowest day we saw was when it rained in the area. We didn't get a lot of rain. It was like a sauna though.

Mark my words, I will NEVER (EVER) do another fall dapper day as long as I live. We were in the parks Thursday-Monday and it was the worst heat I have ever experienced at Disneyland. This was the first time I had a really rough time with my 4-year-old. I think she was overheated, tired and just done. I usually just go with the flow, but it was really hard this time. It was crazy crowded, which I expected, but throw that heat in there and NO. Just no.

I am also bummed they moved the February event to May and after three dapper days. I don't know that I want to participate again if the only options are May or September.

Next year's is May 1st....in my experience living in SoCal, it doesn't start to get hot until mid-late May (and REALLY hot not typically until mid-Summer). I'm betting that May 1st will be really pleasant, actually.

They've changed next year's fall Dapper Day to November, so no more sweltering days (hopefully!).

We went and had a lot of fun. Decided to go really cool this time after our previous experiences and thankfully, that helped a lot. Friday was crowded but fun; very glad we didn't drive though! Saturday was also busy but we enjoyed the DD expo and car show and seeing everyone dressed up. Sunday was fun until early afternoon and then it became absolutely monstrous. It was so hot we had to go back to our room for a few hours because nothing was fun in that weather. By evening, though, it was nice again and we had a blast.

ETA: I may be confusing Sat and Sun. One of those days was super hot. Monday was pretty nice.

Hi Whoever! I really enjoyed the Feb Dapper Day too, with the cooler weather. Next year it will be held on May 1st and the fall date is in November, like DizMe said. It should be cooler then.

Friday evening was REALLY crowed! I heard the park was at capacity and closed. We got on the train and did about 3 circle tours, because you just couldn't do anything else with the mobs of people. Dapper Day has really taken on a life of it's own. I liked it better when it first started and the crowds were much smaller, and everyone greeted each other with "Happy dapper day!", as they walked by. Here's a couple of our group pics. We dressed up on Friday and Saturday. I'll post the rest in a different thread.
