Dapper Day 2017 - April 29th - Whos going!? What'cha wearing!?

Just wondering for all my dapper dans and ladies - are you guys excited and what are you wearing!?

Very excited, it's the first day of my upcoming WDW trip with the family. First time doing Dapper Day as well. Did not plan for it when setting up our flights, but just worked out.

I think the hardest part for me has been trying to pick the right "Dapper" men's clothing that won't have me melting in the hot and humid Florida weather (I'm coming from Seattle where it's been a good 25 degrees cooler). That combined with some kind of dapper shoes that won't destroy my feet and knees either since we plan to be at the park all day. But either way pretty stoked to see what my wife and I can pull off. My DD (4) will most likely just wear a princess dress lol.

DH and I are Dapper Disbounding as monorails on Saturday the 29th, and as Figment & Spaceship Earth on Sunday the 30th. We got tickets yesterday for the expo inside the Living Seas Lounge - can't wait!

Yeah lol. Dapper and humid heat as well as all day on your feet in Disney don't exactly go hand in hand.

I'm going Short Sleeve with Suspenders and Bow Tie and Linen Pants (no vest or coat/jacket) in an effort to stay cool. Debating on even doing some Chuck Ts (not traditionally Dapper, but it might work) vs dress shoes in an effort not to destroy my poor feet as it's my first day there and I plan to be walking all day. Or perhaps I will bring dress shoes for morning pictures only then swap into something more comfortable for the rest of the day....like CROCS!!!

I can see that. My first experience with a dapper day was accidentally at Disney land a few years back. I feel like everyone showed up in the morning looking Dapper. Took a lot of pictures, and then left in the afternoon.

On that note, perhaps I bring a change of more comfortable clothing for the afternoon/evening.

We'll be there both days, but likely only dressing up for one. Probably saturday, but if we decide to go to the official lounge party we'll dress up sunday instead.

We will be at Epcot on Sunday, dressed up a little My daughter is Doing Disneyland Dapper day the weekend prior with her boyfriend and they have adorable matching outfits. I wish I could figure out how to attach pictures, I'd post them! They do every Disneyland Dapper Day and always look amazing! I am not as into it as she is, but we will be dressing up for our Sunday at Epcot. We didnt even know we'd be visiting during Dapper Weekend - a nice surprise!

We will not be down for the April DD but will be for the one in the fall. That Saturday will be our departure day, but our flight will not be until late afternoon, so we are making plans to dress up, but not TOO much so we can dress down for the flight home.

My costume consists of a Weave Knit Fedora, Linen Pants, Short Sleeve button shirt. I also may do fashionable sneakers. Probably the best I can do to dapper my way through the heat.

We did Dapper Day last year at MK and I was sweating like crazy in my suit/tie. I only lasted until the early afternoon before I had to go back to the resort and change.

Funny note, I was approached by multiple guests asking for directions, thinking I was a CM and not knowing it was Dapper Day.
