Daphne's Babies The FINAL Update!

They're adorable!

Thank you. I can't believe how cute they are. I find myself just going in and just watching them. They are even cute when they sleep! Ask me in 5 or 5 weeks, when I have five of them running around my house!

Here's today's "pic" of today. I was busy with work today, and didn't get in much to see them. I realized at 9pm that I had NO pictures from today! They were pretty much all "tucked" in for the night with the exception of Nala who was all over the nest!

For some reason this afternoon, Daphne decided she was going to move the babies - still in the closet, but up on a storage box, behind the clothes that were hanging. Now this would not have really been a bad spot had it not been on top of 2 boxes, with just tile floor below! She moved each of the boys up there at one point, and I gently replaced them where they belong (at least that's what "human" mom wants!). I re-arranged boxes, and clothing to make the location not so appealing. We went out to the movies (Ice Age 2), and I was concerned she would have moved them while we were gone. They were all comfy cozy in the same spot.

Here's a family portrait for Sunday - they are one week old, and getting more and more adorable every day. I think their eyes might open soon. They are each starting to really show a personality too.

Here is a pic of Tara and Sarabi. She has now caught up and Nala is the peanut!

I have not gotten a picture yet today, but the kittens eyes are starting to open. Both of Sarabi's were open last I looked and a couple others had one partially opened. It is so cool to see their eyes! We've been bringing one out of the next from time to time for some cuddling, but put them right back when they cry or Daphne seems upset with us. I love cuddling with Sarabi. She is a little sweetie,

I can't wait to see the next round of pictures! They are so adorable--I'm glad that you are enjoying them.

Oh man, they are too pretty for words!

It is really cool wen their eyes open, it's a whole new kitten when that happens. Expect a lot of exploring soon...they will be wobbly, but definitely trying to check out the new things they see!

Here is the latest picture of the babies. They are just too cute! I almost got all of them looking the same way at the same time!

OH, babies!!! So cute! :teeth: Good luck posing them next time! maybe with superglue! :rotfl:

OMG! They are getting so big! SO CUUUUTTTTEEEE!!!

Give each one of those little kitten heads a kiss for me!! :goodvibes

They are adorable! I'll bet they are a hoot to watch now. Still waiting on the results of my allergy tests, although when visiting a friends house last weekend--she's got several cats, and I had a lot of wheezing...so it's not looking good on the cat front for me.

My oh my they're getting so big and so ADORABLE! *squee* I can't beleive how fast they're growing up. They're really so beautiful!

oooh, they are so cute. just want to give them all a big smooch!!

Ok, that picture is priceless. I am offically in love with every one of them... cuteness overload.

Well, looks like the verdict is in: DH says we CAN get a kitten, but just one, and we even bought a few things today, but he does not want to get one in Florida on the trip. Says besides the money bringing it home, also just doesn't want to mess with that one more thing on the flight home. He says we can get a local kitty this summer AFTER the trip.

I do think that's probably best, but I have become used to the idea of little Keara coming home with us. I'm sure she'll have a plethora of folks wanting her though!

I totally understand! It was something fun to think about! I am so in love with all of these babies, it is going to be heartbreaking to see them go, but 8 cats is just too many! I am hoping too that I can find homes for 2 and 2, and then I will keep one (I know I said, NO, but I don't want there to be one out there without "family" - I am such a sucker - at least one would be with Mommy.)

We have been busy with family this week, and pretty much had time to peek in in the morning, and in the evening. My great nephew loves them too - he would always bring out one of the boys in the morning. He wants to take on home with them on the plane today!
