Sign me up, too. I am going on the DIS ABD trip in April so I had to choose between DAP and food for my two teenaged boys. The food won out. *Someday* they will be grown and living on their own and my food bill will be less than my mortgage. Ahhh, to dream...

WOo! I LOVE this idea! We're not at East Coast DAP because we have a 6 month old baby and we're going to WDW in March. I'd love to do a West Coast DAP though.

I am home because my library building project is coming to an end. We are soon moving from the temporary location back to the expanded adn renovated library. Not a good time to leave! work!

Us too except we're awaiting our son! We're due a few days before you - Christmas Day to be exact. Though we wouldn't have been going for DAP even if we weren't expecting - DH manages a grocery store an can't take off before Christmas. We did have New Year's week booked at BLT - our first stay at our home resort - before we found out though. On days like today where I'm swollen like the girl in Willy Wonka that turned into a blueberry and can barely waddle around to get to the bathroom, I have to admit I'm jealous of all the DAP'ers! But in a couple of weeks (it better not drag on more than that!) I'll forget all about it!

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm pregnant, although I'm only 29 weeks (but so cranky I'm sure they wouldn't want me around down there anyway ) and Dh is in retail so there's no way he can get away in December. Oh well, I'll just keep counting down the days until we go in September.

I love a party - count me in. Although I can't really complain we leave Dec 28th for 8 days. Congrats to all of you who are expecting, it's such a wonderful time! Happy Holidays and I guess we're stuck with the snow then rain then thunder & llightening then ice (all in one day)... Gotta love New England!

ughh seriously yesterday was GROSS! it didn't snow down where i am in Plymouth (very close to the coast), but i had to cater a party in Boston last night...it was nicer when i left at 9:30 than it was when i got there at 4! WHY DO I STILL LIVE IN THIS STATE, ughhhhh...

I'm going to WDW for marathon weekend Jan. 8 - 13 (and doing the half marathon!), so... my current vacation budget line item is allocated already! I did sign up for podcast cruise 2.0 AND a cruise on the disney dream in 2011, so really I have nothing to complain about. But I still feel like I want to join the pity party when I think about the Marty Sklar presentation that I'm missing.... booooo!

Oh and congrats to all you expecting babies soon! For a minute there I thought everyone at this pity party was pregnant. Wow. Then I guess I'd wind up having to hoard all the special pity party champagne for myself...

That'll be my first meet, too. Hard to believe it's 'only' 12 months now when it was announced at 18, huh?

Not going to DAP; actually haven't been to WDW at all this year (though that was partly by choice). In the end, I'm kinda glad we didn't book for DAP either - I still have a cane and various issues from my car accident last month. Wouldn't be too much fun hobbling around.

Looking forward to seeing some DAP pics, though. Oh, and good luck to everyone who's posted saying they're studying for exams!

Oh nooo! How awful! Well, not awful that your son is graduating, that's wonderful- but hard to be so close to getting to go to and then not being able to go.
