DAP Pity Party

I wanted to make a thread to throw a pity party for everyone who is not going to Disapalooza...

So feel free to share your grief....

My one good reason for staying home- I'm avoiding very expensive trip to the emergency room as I know my husband and I would have both pulled every muscle in our upper body trying to get the highest score to win that cruise! So not being able to go is really a blessing in disguise

I feel your pain! I wish I was there... but .. I'm here... studing for an exam (that I have the 18th) in the cold cold North italian weather... I want DAP!!

We aren't going either- We have good reason. I am 37 weeks pregnant and we are anxiously awaiting the birth of our Daughter.

I am excited to hear about the festivies and see pictures!

I'll join the party too. We are heading down to the World for my birthday in January and going to Alaska in May, so we couldn't afford another trip now. Maybe someday I'll get to one of these events!

Bring Cake! And pie...we don't want to exclude anyone from a pity party

At least we all get to listen to the podcast when it goes up today..we don't have to miss it because we are too busy riding rides in the parks

I'm in! I also can't complain I leave for the World for 10 days on January 6th. Cheering my uncle on as he completes the "Goofy" on marathon weekend.

Us too except we're awaiting our son! We're due a few days before you - Christmas Day to be exact. Though we wouldn't have been going for DAP even if we weren't expecting - DH manages a grocery store an can't take off before Christmas. We did have New Year's week booked at BLT - our first stay at our home resort - before we found out though. On days like today where I'm swollen like the girl in Willy Wonka that turned into a blueberry and can barely waddle around to get to the bathroom, I have to admit I'm jealous of all the DAP'ers! But in a couple of weeks (it better not drag on more than that!) I'll forget all about it!

I want to join the party! I have finals all this week, so I'm studying like crazy (I'm on the DIS because I needed a break ). I can't believe I'm going to miss DAP because I am taking exams . Oh well, maybe sometime in the future I will be able to go.

My wife and I wanted to go, but we just went down in late September and she is 27 weeks pregnant, so we will stick with cold and windy Boston.
