Danube Cruise Question - What Happens Next?

Hi all! Just made our final payment today for our Dec 23 Holiday Danube Cruise. Very anticlimatic, honestly, you make a large payment and get an emailed receipt from the travel agent, nothing fun like you get when you book WDW or DCL....

Anywhoo, focusing on the future fun - when can we expect more info? Not until the welcome package 6-8 weeks before? Will we get any kind of info like who the guides are, how many kids are on board, etc.? Maybe an updated itinerary? I saw that the current one for our trip says the boat is the Amaviola, for example, but if you go to the AMA site, the Amaviola is actually on a different trip through AMA at the same time, so....

This is our first ABD trip overall, so any thoughts appreciated on what we an expect!

When you get "the box" it will have a (relatively) updated itinerary. If you want to know who your Guides will be, and how many kids are on board, you'll need to call ABD for that info. They don't send it to you.

The box will also contain a duffel bag, a makeup bag, a laundry bag and luggage tags.

yes you can call at any time and they will tell you how many kids are booked- they can tell you the exact age of each kid if you are interested. they also will likely be able to tell you the guides are that are scheduled to be on it although that could change.

they definitely aren't the best with sending out info. that being said if you have questions about excursions etc. they are pretty good about finding the answers for you.
