Dansko Clogs...where to get them at a great discount!

HI...anyone with any connections???? My feet are killing me and I finally after tryong on several department store shoes...broke down and tried Dansco PRofessional clogs in size 40! AAAHHHHHHH my feet were in happy land but my pocket book was yelling ouch! $115! I really want the leather ones and It is hard to find them at a steep discount! ANyone????

There are Dansko outlets too. I used to only were Dansko before I found Crocs. Now the Danskos feel so heavy to me.

I am the event coordinator at a large restaurant chain...which translates to a lot of time running around on a slippery tile floor in the kitchen and a very durable yet extremely hard terrazzo dining room floor. Especially this time of year, I will be on my feet 12+ hours per day, 7 days a week. I swear by the Danskos. They have tread like a tire on the bottom to prevent slipping and support my feet....ankles...knees...back, etc. I've told (and converted) every manager in my restaurant and all of my nurses. That being said, Chefworks.com used to offer one of their styles for $89. I haven't had to purchase any in a long time, because they last so long. They also have "seconds" that they allow you to purchase directly from their website. In my line of work, it doesn't take but one wearing to make brand new ones look like seconds. They also have a lot of new, cuter styles to choose from. I have had good luck with them. Hope that helps!

You might want to look at the Pothia brand. They have some styles that are very similar to Dansko...but at a much lower price! www.pothia.com

You might also want to try your local Freecycle group. I just gave away my barely used white leather professional Dansko's that I spent over $100 on! Those things screwed up my hip and back so bad...love Crocs!!!

<------- nurse here, I swear by dansko clogs, i have 3 pairs, its all i wear for work. I have paid full price for all of mine ( ouch ) , but i have seen them on qvc occasionally
