On my trip back to Orlando in September I am keen to do something a little different. One thing that Orlando is acutely short of is decent wooden Rollercoasters and even though I'm planning a trip to Busch Gardens to enjoy Gwazi (Lion & Tiger) there is little else that fills this category.
Looking at the maps, Dania Beach, which has the 'Hurricane' is almost as far as Miami and would realistically mean at least a 3 hour drive. So, a few questions:
1. Anyone been down to Dania, visited 'Boomers' and ridden the 'Dania Beach Hurricane'?
2. Any other rollercoaster gems within travelling distance of Orlando which I may have missed?
