It's still icy here. DS14 asked what the big deal was and why is there a delay because there isn't much on the ground. I said it probably threw the bus for a loop and they needed to get the chains on. Blink has to many hills.

we've got the S(sn*w)R(rain)I(ice) S(sleet) so what does SRIS sound like to me is sound like junk! Just drop the white stuff or rain I hate the ice and sleet is like driving on marbles. One friends DH already went off the road with ice last week he's fine the plow truck not so much $7000!

Sorry it got you guys though. but please keep it for a bit the plow truck is down at the moment stupid deisels anyones DH know how to fix them?

Yes PLEASE trying to get anything fixed up here is insane even if Icould get it to a dealer they are talking 3 weeks ummmm it's stuck up hear and the wreckers can't come over the bridge if they wanted to.

No, not normal. We usually have snow (at least a few inches) on Halloween--they joke that you can tell a Colorado native (or long timer) because they design their kids Halloween costumes to go over heavy coats

I'm sure you,ve probably figured out that unless we get a ton of snow, it snows one day and melts in the next day or two. So it is normal for it to be warm & sunny one day and snowy the next

Sorry guys dealing w/ the white stuff... reminds me to have DH get all our de-icer, scrappers and such in the cars... I winterized the extra blankets, water, crackers, sweatshirts, games into the car 2 months ago.. (only cause I was cleaning something else and decided to just pull those things together and get them done... we have to winterize 3 vehicles now.....so I have to start early!

I call the weather schizophrenic. My biggest problem, sometimes, is figuring out what to even wear because the weather at 4PM may not be what it is at 9AM. And I can't count, this is our 3rd winter here, 2nd in the house, and then we had our first year at the apartment. We had that same rule about Halloween costumes in Washington. But there it was because of the rain.

Ok Buff - sorry it sounded acusatory, but it traveled here from somewhere, (and you're the closest)!!! Changed to rain - a real cold rain. We were able to do our walking tour at the end of the day, so the project is on schedule.

Sorry y'all have to deal with all that sn*w. It maybe snows once a year around here. It's a big event-schools are closed, everybody goes to the grocery store, everybody freaks out!

Those of you who do not want the cold and snow...send it to the Hoosier state! (Sorry Nan!) I would love to see our temps. anywhere near normal... 70s today and projected upper 70s to almost 80 by the end of the week! Darn global warming! It is November...the shorts are supposed to be packed away by now!

(Needless to say, I am a winter girl!)
