Just had to vent because I'm getting soooo tired of this.
At work I have seen so many people with what I like to call "selective memory". Let me explain what I mean by that.
They do something wrong, I, or one of the other bosses tells them to knock it off, they do it again, we tell them again, they do it again, we yell louder. Finally they get punished/fired/probation, whatever - and all of a sudden that have ABSOLUTELY no recollection of the umpteen times they were told to knock it off.
Then they go and whine to everyone else, call whomever will listen "Poor poor me! I did something and nobody told me it was wrong to do! They never warned me! I'm a victim! The powers that be are HORRIBLE."
So they suck all the other people into believing that they were treated unfairly and we look like big meanies (okay, I am a meanie but I like taking credit only when credit is due
)
If only I can show the people they have duped all of the correspondence that these people have received, telling them to straighten up so we can cut this nonsense out.
The moral of this story? Well there is two of them - first off, if you run into one of these people, do me a favor and whap them before I run into them
and two, next time you are at work or somewhere else and you hear someone whine about how unfair they were treated, remember... there is always another side to the story!
The more I work with people, the more I love my dogs.

Unfortunately, my boss will tell me something today and I won't remember by the time I get home tonight. It is so bad and I openly admit that I can't remember a thing. However, your co workers seem to be extreme! Sorry you have to deal with that, Lauri!!
