Okay for those of you that have not met me or read my PTR...My name is Farrah, my husband is Dane, and my boys names are Heath (7) and Javen(4).
We planned our trip for over a year and it was well worth it. In this trip report you will see MANY MANY MANY pictures--I took over 900!!!!! If you would like you can check out my PTR to see some of the things we did to prepare for our WDW trip.

Well we were all up early....we had planned on leaving around 10:00am AND GUESS WHAT---It happened--were off to a great start! My sister, mother and niece were at my house at 9:30 and packed and ready to go! So they followed us in there van.
here are the boys-- ready to go!! We are getting ready to pull out of ther drive way

My worst fear--ALTLANTA--turns out there wasnt as much traffic as I had imagined!! YAY

Here we are stopped in Tifton GA to stay the night--grabbed a room at the ramada (i think).....javen is telling us how excited he is that we will be in Disney tommrrow!!

So we get everyone up early and are on the road by 9:30am
Here is Heath roarin to go

We finally see the sign we have been waiting to see for 2 days now

Noww Dane took that picture and he really messes that up...he took it to far away..then tryed to take another close up and WE PASSED THE SIGN before he could get another!!! I was a little upset- I was hoping to get a good shot of that.

So we make our way around the Disney area and find this

We are all soooo freekin excited at this point! It is right around 2:30 so we head in and Dane takes the boys to the kid area in POP while I check in

so we get checked in and get a room (its ready)...we are in the 50's building, second floor on the very end, facing the bowling pin pool-GREAT LOCATION!---OH BTW on the way to our room I spot Bentlygirl22's room(she had her window decorated)--I was so excited to see that a disser was soo close to us!

Here is my window after we got settled in and I got it decorated

Next up our second half of the first day in Disney--will we go to MK, EPCOT, MGM or AK---stay tuned!!!

oh wow what a great start to your report! love love love the pix of your boys! love their names too! glad the traffic in atlanta was light for you all...i live north of atlanta and have NEVER and will NEVER drive there...lol...will go but not drive! i love the POP pix too...we will be staying at allstar music when we go in april,in a family suite with dd #2 and her family but am planning a trip w/dd #1 and her 3 girls and dh/mil in sept.o9* hoping for free dining!there will be too many of us for a suite so i am hoping for 2 rooms at POP! the twins would love all that stuff...planning the trip around their 5th b'day!

Hi and welcome to my TR!! Yes Atlanta is very scary for me-LOL....for some reason is was not bad this time...Im guessing that it was because we drove threw around 7pm on a Sunday night-not to much going on I guess.

My sister, mother and niece could not stay at POP with us...there was no availability so they stayed at ASMu and I have to say that Next time I go to disney and need a value resort I will choose Music! It was VERY nice. All rooms were recently renovated and had new EVERYTHING from mattresses to flat screen TVs!!!!!!! I was a little jealous to be honest Not That I didnt LOVE POP--Just really liked the new roomas at Music!

thank you!! I kinda threw it together--another disser who left POP the same day we arrived had arranged to leave her Mickey heads, monkey lights and a few other things at the front desk for me to use, so That helped alot!! Such nice people here on the Dis!!!!

There was some construction going on while we were driving threw but nothing that held us up--nor did we have to use any alturnative routes.

I'm here! Woohoo ... but I'm going to comment later. I gotta run off somewhere. Just wanted to make sure I was subbed!

Well after we are all settled in our rooms we decide to head to a park(Its about 5PM)....that was a easy choice because we had ADRS at Sci Fi this night at 7:35 so we went to MGM.
We went out front of POP and caught our first Bus ride this trip--the wait was not long , maybe 10 minutes and the ride there was short.
First Thing I did was.....you guessed it take a picture or 2....or 100!!!

I LOVE this park!!! Its sooo Fun! The crowds were Low and we decided to head streight for start tours--we had planned on doing FPs for this but we WALKED on! To be honest I was a little nervous.....It had been almost 4 years since I had rode ANY type of rides sop I was feeling a little panicy when we sat down in the ride and the doors shut BUT Once we got going I was fine! The boys LOVED this ride! I kept looking over at Javen to see how he was doing and he was soooo into it!! Then we went out the gift shop and thats where the boys started wanting to shop--ALREADY???? we have 6 more days to go- Im gonna be broke!!

So after that I called my sister and they had just made it to MGM from ASMu and so we met up with them to see the indiana jones, this is one of the shows that Dane and I had never seen in our previous trips.

This is my mom and Javen during the show....BTW my mom was just amazed by this show--shes sooo funny--youd think shed never been out of her house before LOL

After that DS, MOM and DN all wanted to ride star tours so we parted ways for awhile. dane, the boys and I went and got FPs for TOT and grabbed some EMH bracelets right there by TOT

at that point we headed back over to Muphets 3D thinking we would run into Mom , sis and niece--no luck--dont know where they went--ohwell..as long as were havin fun right
So we did The muphets and IT WAS AWSOME! Heath was jumpin out of his seat he was soo excited! After that I took a couple pics

It was now &:15 and we had ADRs for 7:30 At Sci Fi so we headed over there. We waited and waited and waited... no sign of mom, sis and niece...I kept calling there cell no answer!! R U KIDDING ME!! Already ?!?!?!?! That place was packed too-- they were turning people away right and left! Heres a pic of the boys in the outside SCI FI car while waiting....

So 20 minutes later The family comes strolling up--They said they got on a ride ( I think It was ellen Dege. ride) and that was why there were late
anyway- I go up and check us in and waited maybe 10 minutes before a girl came skating out hollerin for my family. I was really lookin forward to this place!
We get seated and my mom asks to take Dane and I's pic....

As we waited for our waiter to come Heath announces that he has just lost a tooth and he has this scared look on his face-- he wasnt expecting this tooth to come out for awhile...anyway..we get him a cold napkin for his Gum and dane puts his tooth up so the tooth fiery can come.

the food was GREAT--better than I had expected! The milkshakes were awsome too!!

danes Ribs were almost gone as well as Heaths pizza so I didnt bother taking pics of there food--I do try to do better with food pics in the future LOL

All and all I must say that I WOULD return to sci Fi!! It was VERY quite in there and everywhere I read anything about sci fi it said the noise level was high--not this night!!!

After Dinner we decided to catch the late fantasmic show---I was sooooo excited to see this--yet another show we have NEVER seen. Some howe in the crowd we had lost Mom, sis and DN...so we put the strollers up and got in the HUGE crowd of people waiting to see the show........THEN out of no where I look over and see my mom scooten by on her scooter in the handicap lane-- So we cut across a sea of people and make it over to the handicap line and slide under the ropes ---boy did we get bad looks for this BUT hey my family was up there so we finallyt caught up with them and got seated up top nearly in the center section (it was perfect)!

What a amazing show!!! That is definitly a must from now on! I have the whole thing recorded!!

After that we took our Fps over to TOT and all rode it- I had never rode this at night time before- It was wickid awsome!! Here we are in line

and after wards I tryed to get a redneck photo of us but they didnt turn out to well so I wont post those---THE BOYS HATED THIS RIDE!! But it was very intense, more than I had remembered it being!!
After that it was very late (around 10:45) so we caught the bus back to POP and wenty streight to sleep!!

We had a awsome first day!!! Stay tuned to see what tommrrow brings us!

It looks like the beginning of a great trip report. Your boys are so cute. I took my granddaughter on the TOT when she was five, and she said "I rode it Meme, but that's it. I not going to ride it anymore." I though I was going to die laughing. Can't wait to read more, and keep the pictures coming.
