Just put a bunch of people standing in the way of the cameras so we can't even see Val, Victoria & Laurie's footwork.

I think part of the problem is that in bringing a returning star back, the choreography has to highlight both stars. That is hard to do. The past trio dances only had to highlight the current star.

The balance is off, that's true.

Highlighting 2 amateurs with one pro, previous champion or not, is difficult to do.
