I'm hoping that we get some time to take da boys to Disney Quest. But there's so much to see. And we just have to watch the whole sensory issue thing with The DJ.

Since it looks like you leave after we return, I'll share what our experiences are with you, so you'll be prepared.

Okay, I was wrong Tuesday is NOT EMH evening hours at MK. But we will still probably go there for Spectro and Wishes. Unless we don't. Flexible, aren't I? Or maybe I'm just really, really confused. Evenings are supposed to be more of "how are we feeling tonight" anyway. Maybe we'll just go to the Adventurers Club at Pleasure Island. Arrrrghhhhh!!!!!! I can't make up my mind!!!

Groan, don't tell me that!!! I want time at WDW to flow slowly, like golden honey. Each precious moment to be examined, savored, appreciated.

But I know it's going to be like a whirlwind. And afterward I won't ever remember being "in the moment". Trips like this always seem to be "planning and anticipation" or "recollection and nostalgia".

So, are we going to hear about YOUR trip now?

At some point you just have to relax and say "Aaah, it's all good! It's Disney World after all." We stayed with our general plan but did switch a few things as we went along. We ended up skipping Illuminations because the kids were just too tired that night. So I just walked over to the other side of Pop and climbed to the fourth floor and watched the fireworks for a little touch of it! My DGS went back to the motel early with DH almost every night, because he preferred a little swim and down time over the hustle and bustle of the parks at night. DGD on the other hand was gung-ho for everything.

I will try and remember this advice. Once I get there. But right now, I'm STILL in planning mode. And as the Great Dadoo has noted about me - planning is at least half the fun. Maybe more

I can absolutely relate to all this. I am actually looking forward to the long drive down to Florida. I can relax in the car because I won't have anything on my to do list!! Have a fabulous time if I don't get in here before you leave - I've got loads of stuff to do before next Wednesday!!

I've greatly enjoyed writing this pre-trip report. I'll probably start the actual trip report in a couple or three weeks.

I even took some pictures of my packing chaos, the kids ready to go, and of me at 1am while packing (well, hubby took that one). If I can figure out how to make the picture part work (and if the sight of me at 1am doesn't break the computer), I'll post them when I return.
