Well, nothing beats bacon. Though I don't think Kimmar covered in bacon sounds all that appealing.

The other week while grocery shopping, I see that Prego(maybe Ragu) has a new flavor of spaghetti sauce. It was Bacon and Parmesean Cheese flavored.
Howdy from sunny Florida. Just a quick drive-by fruiting tonight....
Hope everyone's doing well!

Hi, Nanners!
So I've had knee surgery and am on the proverbial mend. I was supposed to be off crutches in 2-3 days, and we're on day 6. Just talked to my dr's office and they think I should be walking by now. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Hmph.
Anyway, I'm frustrated. I've tried, and it's like a rag doll effect, leg just goes right out from under me. They've given me some advice as to how to get there, so I'll keep trying. They make recovery sound so easy! Too bad what I got told isn't the reality of the situation. And believe me, I am trying. I can only push so hard without hurting myself. I'm so frustrated. I said that already. Apparently I'm really frustrated.
Thanks for listening.
How nice of them to armchair quarterback your recovery. Everyone recovers at different rates. I'm sure you will get better soon. Just on your time, not their's.
Thanks.
I tried walking tonight with one crutch. I can do it but it's slow going and I can feel how weak the muscles are. I tried to push enough but not to the point of pain, and now I've got it wrapped again for compression and iced for swelling.
So hopefully tomorrow I'll get even further, as it were. And then soon I can be one of these dudes
Wow I can't even imagine hopping right now. Although technically I do a great left leg hop.![]()

Oh.... just be careful.... you dont want to re injure it.... if you do too much it may cause more damage... but on the otherhand if you want to rebuild up the strenght to get it back to normal.... your body will tell you when it's time to rest it.
Hope your recovery figures out what you want soon!!! Keep on trying and don't get frustrated.
TarzansKat, go at your body's pace. You're doing great! And I hate those 3AM wakeful mornings. I hope your toddler goes down for a nap so you can get one too!
