I'm looking to purchase my daughter some new dance clothes. I know about justforkix.com, dancewear solutions.com, and allaboutdance.com. Is there any other place you could recommend?

I have found Danskin stuff at Kohl's, Target and Walmart. Not a huge supply and mostly leotards and ballet skirts, but it's all my DD needs right now :)

we have tried the danskin stuff at Walmart and Kohls but they dont last as long as capezio or Bloch. The danskin stuff seem to look warm after a few washes

huh. i don't have that issue at all. in fact the leotard that DD wears now for dance I got last spring, so it's almost a year old and isn't faded or pilled at all. it's one from Kohl's. I use Tide and don't put it in the dryer....if that matters.

I bought my daughters leotard from newyorkdancewear.com and I've gotten many compliments from it.

I also recommend discountdancesupply.com

We actually just bought Bradyn a pair of Dance pants from Justice ( that she can wear to school on dance class days) and pair them with a shirt. We have to be at two places at one time ( tutoring ends at 430, dance starts at 430, about 10 mins between) so clothes she can wear to both are necessary

The correct website for Discount Dance Supply is discountdance.com. I highly recommend it. I have ordered from them and they are very good when it comes to returns.

Dancewear Solutions is the public version of Weissman's Designs for Dance which sells costumes to dance schools. To order from their main website (ordering costumes - not regular dancewear), you have to be a dance school owner. Their dancewear division accessible by owners and the general public. The only difference is the price of some items, usually about $5 difference. They are also very good and I would highly recommend them for general dancewear and shoes.

Another to try is dancedistributors.com.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'll take a look at all of them. I have been to the dancewear solutions store in St Louis. We have gotten most of our stuff from there. :goodvibes

just so you know.. i got an email from my friend who owns a dance store

BLOCH and CAPEZIO LIMIT DISCOUNTS ON THEIR PRODUCTS AS OF MARCH 2011!
The discount stores (on line and brick and motor) will not be allowed to undercut retail prices. They are both doing this to maintain the integrity of their pricing policies. If they find a retailer promoting their products for lower than the maximum discount price.... they "will be forced to stop supplying the product in question to the retailer".
