boy! Just got back from 11 days at ASMusic and we had both the dancers and cheerleaders at the resort while we were there and had no problems at all. The dancers were a lot quieter when practicing, but all the girls were well-behaved. We had to spend quite a bit of time at the resort due to an ill child and never once was disturbed by excess noise or etc. The young ladies were very well behaved even when no adult supervision was present. It seemed as if the dancers liked the pool area better than the Cheerleaders. My only complaint was the dancers took up almost every chair around the guitar pool ( then even used one of our towels - LOL! ) - yes this comment on the chairs is sarcastic. The only thing it did do was make me feel REAL old, pushing 40 is not fun when you realize you could easily be the father of each of these girls and a few of their coaches as well!
We would definitely go back again at this time of the year with no fear. Disney did a great of putting the girls all in a few buildings, this kept the chance of rowdiness in a small area.
I was very impressed with the dedication the young ladies had pracicing for their event. I know it would be hard for me to concentrate on practicing and etc when there is so much to do and a lot more fun things than being in a parking lot going over my routine for 3-4 hours (YES, I saw a team do this one day - I hope they did well as then really were working hard to perfect their performance).
For any Dancers, Cheerleaders or people in their parties who read this - GREAT job on showing us that the youth in America gives us something to look forward to.
