Does anyone know what time the Dance the Magic Parades usually are in July? We want to make a Café Orleans reservation but the schedule isn't posted yet and if we wait to long we might not be able to get a reservation for 9 people, especially with the Pixar menu and summer crowds. If we know it's usually around 3 0r 4 we can take a chance for dinner res. Any info would help.

I don’t know specifically anything about this production, however every time I’ve ever seen dancers parading in the park it has come right before a parade. I’ve seen them before both first and second parade, too. I think a safe bet would be right after the second parade starts if you can’t get a firm answer. I have never in 20 years seen one come behind a parade. Usually they come about 15-20 minutes prior, when they already have a captive audience.

You can make reservations for a time you think will work. Then you can cancel if it doesn't. You could potentially even make double reservations and plan to keep whichever works for your group. Just cancel as soon as you know so you don't get charged.

Thanks, I do think I will have to make a "probability" reservation. It does make sense that the dancers would come before the parade, so I will have to look into that, and find out when my granddaughter's group will be free after their "event". Thanks for your help.

Just know that if they dance in the second parade, they will end up backstage by Small World and it could take forever to get back you. The first parade would end at Main St and you may have a chance of getting back to her quicker.

Does is it always end at Small World? I’m really hoping it’s not before the second parade. That doesn’t start until 6 pm. Now I hear the dance group isn’t even receiving their schedule until 10 days before their event which means we will need to make a much later reservation than we would like. No one is younger than 12 though, so I guess we would survive

When there are 2 scheduled in a day, the first parade starts at small world and ends on main st, and the second one goes in reverse to put the floats away. If there is only one, it will start at Small World and they put the floats away overnight.

I think you would be safe making a reservation after 4pm. But they can and do also have a group prior to the 6pm parade at times. All you can do is guess and hope. Also remember, they can have backstage classes, and none of this is announced until about 2 weeks prior.
