Dance in WDW or family in WDW?... Help!

My dance line has been invited to dance in WDW for some music week thing. It is only three days long and sounds really rushed. My mom and dad want to go in February for a family vacation for 8 days and 5 months before that is when I would dance. The price is horrible for three days, and we wouldn't even be visitng the parks for that long! I think it would be fun to dance there but I think it would be funner as a family.... My mom says that she isn't going to pay for both and I would most likely have to fly as an unnaccompanied minor on the flight unless my dance friend's moms go. Should I do it with dance friends or family? I'm leaning towards family but I don't know!

I'd definetly go with my family!!!
--although dancing at WDW sounds really cool! If you really wanted to go with your dance, and if your friends mom went, and if the price isn't that high you could try raising the money so you could go... that's what I would do. Even if the trip IS rushed the whole feeling of being in disney is really cool!

Go with your family eventhough they may be innoying but your going hit yourself, not going to 8 days. I couldn't even do disney trip in 5 days. Eventhough it might be fun with your friends but if your down there to go to the parks, go w/ your family.

3 days sounds pretty rushed, but then again the focus would be on you doing your dance thing. You may want to see how much free time they are giving you. Are you going with good friends? That could be alot of fun. But I'm sure you would have a great time with your family also. OK so make a pro and con list. Dance thing: 3 days Family:8 days
Dance thing: in Florida in Septmeber (you said 5 months before family trip)
Family: in sunny Florida in the middle of February Wow, enough said. You decide!!! Enjoy

i think you should go with your family. Disney is more of a family place anyway, i always love going to disney with my family, cuz we are so close idk i like going with my family and since it would be for longer and to be actually going to the parks, i would go with my family. And you would probably have other chances to dance in Disney, you never know you could get a job there one day to dance in their shows.

Unless it was mandatory, I`d stick with the family. Truthfully, I think you`d have more fun

I've made my decision: FAMILY!!!! I made a pro con list (thank you whoever said that!) I couldnt give up eight days in disney and punish my whole family by not going!!! Three days... that stinks!!!! I need more than that to get around one park for pete's sake! Disney is more of a family place and plus I'll get more pins if I go with my family!

I danced in WDW in August. We stayed there for 9 days and we walked only the magic kingdom because our dance studio had all these things planed like the workshop at epcotfor everyday, but what ever you pick have fun!!
