Well, let's see if the title of this message makes it through the filters.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I got a "call back" about my mammogram tonight. I'm going to have to go in on Wednesday for 3-4 hours and have docs pour over new films and maybe take an ultrasound before we decide what's up.

So ... if you're the praying kind, please commense with all of that.

And, if not, a few good wishes couldn't hurt.

The truth is I've had call backs before, but this one feel kinda odd and I'm up for whatever might happen, but only if friends and loved ones tag along! :)

Aww, Viki - I'm here for you along with all your other online friends. :grouphug: I'll say some prayers for you. But try not to think too far ahead - a few weeks ago I got a call about some blood work and had to go for more tests while my doctor listed three possible things it could be (none sounded fun!). Well, in the end everything was fine. I'll keep you in my prayers and you keep up a positive attitude.

PS: I recommend a double dirty.

good thoughts Viki! Please keep us posted!

Viki,

I'm sure it's nothing. But I'm gonna go pop a cold one have a one on one with my savior for ya!

Please keep us posted!

Wish I were closer, you know I would be on your door step now with a covered dish!

{{{Viki}}} If you need to take it a step further, request a breast MRI before anything else, ok? That is a pretty strong diagnostic and hopefully it will resolve all issues in a most positive manner.

Know that we carry you in our hearts, eh? {{{hugs}}}

Oh Sweetie -- you are TOTALLY in my prayers -- adding on to Mike's comment, sometimes ultrasound can be a good second tier diagnostic as well.

Mmmmm .... mmmmm casseroles - music to a Lutherans ears! :)

Well, this will come as no surprise, but I did have a few cold ones last night and I felt better. In fact, I've called a few friends together and we're going to hit the local Mexican cantina that has the best margaritas this side of WDW! Between friends, chips, and ritas I oughta be able to preserve my little self through the rest of the day in this 5 day waiting game!!!

And, yes, they do have an ultrasound on sight and they said if they're still confused they'll use it.

I know this happens to folk everyday and it's happened to both me and my partner, but still as I get older it feels more ominus. Still, we're troopers, aren't we? It's probably all good and if it's not, we'll make it so!

You all, btw, because I just don't say it enough do I :) are simply the BEST!

Once again good luck and best wishes!

Aint getting old fun? 20 years ago I would brush off any sort of medical condition, now even a small pain in my side causes me concern! :rotfl2:

Hmmm Margi's and chips and salsa, may have to indulge myself tonight after work!:woohoo:

Viki! MANY prayers are headed your way! You have my # kiddo if you want to talk.

:grouphug: Hugs all around. Allthough we all might not know each other personally we are all still here on this board, family.

Prayers and  Vicki -- I had a simliar experience a few years ago. It's not an unusual thing for them to want to take a better look via ultrasound. If your breasts are "lumpy" in general (for example, if you have fibroids), it can be difficult to read the mamogram. I had some lumpy things they wanted to review via ultrasound -- turned out to be clogged milk ducts. How's that for an image? (you're welcome) Anyhoo -- it's not something I'd lose sleep over. Enjoy the 'ritas, though. That sounds fabulous!!

Viki,

Even those of us "lurkers" out here will be sending up prayers and pixie dust. I don't drink, but for you I might even haul out the dessert wine if it'll help!

My thoughts are with you and your partner in this. I hope all goes well. Also..my partner and I just got done reading about your Anniversary trip..We are in awe of all the pics and everything. It looks awesome! Good luck to you though and please keep us posted..

Kate

You all are so super! Thank you.

The ritas, chips, and friends lunch was super yesterday - even the straight guy from the lab who tagged along asked my partner later if I was really OK. What a sweety. We called it a hive moment!

For today, I'm on my way to the gym, big super market shopping, and then dinner with SIL and husband tonight in Bethlehem (the one in PA).

I am very glad I don't work tomorrow; when I have a gig it's all about everyone of them, and right now it's good to just keep a little energy for myself.

Other than that, it's life as usual!

Hi Viki,
