Where are all the DVC members in Dallas Fort Worth? We have owned for one year and live in Sachse.

There are quite a few here -- we have been members since 2002. We live in Keller and call the Beach Club Villas home. :wave2:

Head east and I'm just over the state line in Louisiana.

We're in Highland Village (just north of Flower Mound)...and we are DEVOTED to the BCV's!!!

Although we don't, DS lives in Denton, works in Lewisville. And we still love him, even though he prefers BWV (but I'd rather be at BCV).

We live in Dallas (Southwest near Arlington) and our home is BCV, but we also own at SSR and HH.

Hi.. We used to live in Sachse before building a home and moving to the "country" 10 years ago. We now live in Trenton which is 20 miles Northeast of Mckinney. We have been a member of DVC for almost a year and are taking our 2nd. trip "home" in a few weeks.

:)

Hi,
We are in Fort Worth and we have been members since 2003. Our homes are BCV and SSR. We have add ons at OKW and BWV.

We live in Muenster, TX and have been members since 05. We are about a hour and a 1/2 Northwest of DFW Area.

Curious does everyone here usually fly or has anyone drove to WDW.

Welcome to the Dis CKDKMK!

We are about equal on the driving and flying. We like to stay at least 2 weeks, so driving allows us to bring what we want. Plus we don't have to rent a car. If we get really good airfare (which is rare from DFW) then we will fly.

If we are cruising we fly, because we dont want to be delayed and miss the boat!

Driving is really not bad (1100 miles for us) because we have 2 weeks in between to recover. We have always driven straight thru and Dh and I share the driving. The Florida Panhandle is the worse and I hate driving that stretch at night.

Well, I'm in Baton Rouge for now, but may be moving to McKinney this summer. I'd love to meet some fellow DVCers when I get to my new home as we won't know anyone!

We live in Irving and have been members at VWL since Dec. 2000. There is a nice group of DISers who meet every 6 to 8 weeks and eat out. Keep an eye on the DIS meets board for upcoming meets.

We used to fly but my DD9 has recently been diagonsed with progressive hearing loss and it prevents her from flying. So now we drive and will be doing so again in the next few weeks.
Back when we used to fly the cheapest flight we got was 80$ :Pinkbounc roundtrip with taxes on American!!! I booked it in July of 2001 for a trip for December 2001. I could not ever find a rate like that again but I have used Priceline and booked an airfare of 125$ with taxes. Nice to meet everyone here... :)

$80? $125 Really?! I thought I was doing good when I booked last week with AA for $177.

Really :) I know it was a steal! At the time I did not realize how good of a deal it was because on our first trip in 2000 we let WDW book our air. I now know what a deal the 80 was! Our family of 6 at the time was able to all fly for less than 500$ what a bargain. The 125 on Priceline was in 2003 and I ended up with really good flights.... Like I stated before now we have to drive for our trips. We leave in few weeks to make the drive to WDW. I am debating about getting annual passes and going back late this summer or just going annually. decisions decisions... :)

We moved to Plano from the Chicago area last October. So far, we love it here! We have moved a lot. We joined DVC a couple of years ago with a BCV contract from Disney, then we bought a VWL contract re-sale. We usually drive, even from Chicago, but we have flown a couple of times when it was a short trip. We drove to VWL for Christmas a couple of months ago  . Our next trip will be Spring or early summer 07. I hope we can do two weeks so the drive will not be as bad. We love having our own vehicle and letting the kids bring everything they want. We generally stop halfway, dh gets Marriot points from work travel so we generally get the room(s) free!! Our next trip, we are going to San Antonio in early June, staying at a Marriot Residence Inn all paid for with his points! We also own another t/s in Williamsburg that we trade through RCI! We love to travel and really look forward to exploring our new home state, but WDW is still our favorite :thumbsup2 . Hey to all you guys in McKinney :wave2: .

brandip22, I was born in Franklin, La and raised in Lafayette (my sister and lots of other family are still there so we visit Lafayette quite often!) We are just south of McKinney. We looked at some houses there but dh wanted the shortest commute possible so we bought in Plano, 4 miles from his office. He had the commute from h#*l in Chicago for 5 years so he deseves it. We have 4 kids aged 14, 12, 10, and 8 and we just started homeschooling. Let us know when you move here, maybe we could get some dissers together for a meet-up!

We live in Texarkana, just 2.5 hours on I-30 from DFW. We've been DVC members at BWV since 98' and VB since 01'.
