DAK Parade

If we have a 5:30 PS at Boma, would we still have time to watch the 4o p.m. AK parade and get to Boma on time?

Hi Dawnrose,

It will be tight...depending on wherre you watch it from, the parade may not be finished at your spot till 4:30. Then you have to buck the crowds, many of whom will be leaving with you! Then you need to get back to the bus stop or your car, and if you're using WDW transportation maybe you won't get on the first AKL bus.

I'll defer to someone more familiar with MJJP, and you may indeed make it back in time, but I'm thinking it will be close!

Actually, I don't think it will be much of a problem. If you watch the parade from in front of the Tree of Life (it will be crowded there), it will end close to 4:30. You shouldn't have any problem heading back to the lot from there and getting your car, and from there it's a short drive to the AKL. Disney transport would be quicker-- it only takes about 5 minutes for the bus to get from AK to the AKL.

We did this a couple of years ago-- we watched the parade, then hopped on a bus for AKL and were there by 5:00. Our Boma PS wasn't until 6:00, so we had plenty of time to explore the resort first (and rest in the nice cushioned chairs in the lobby. )

Yes - follow GarrettJD's great advice, and you can pull this off. It'll work because AKL is only five minutes by bus from AK.

I will definitely follow your advice...It sounds like the perfect plan ...now that I know where to watch!
