Daisy Duck???

Someone told me that while they were in MGM the first week of December, someone told them that they will never see Daisy Duck at a character appearance. I find that sort of hard to believe so I thought I would ask all these wonderful people on this board. If anybody knows if this is true, I would think it would be you guys!!!

Thanks for the quick response! I know she shows up for parades, but what they heard is she never does character appearances for pictures and autographs. I have been to the world 5 times and now that I think of it, I have never seen her either.

We were told Daisy is very shy and doesn't come out for appearances very often. It took us 4 trips to find her, LOL!!! However, we found her at the MK - came in through the right side and she was up on the porch to the right signing autographs. That was about 5 minutes after my son told my daughter she might as well give up on getting her autograph. But that is still the only time we have seen her. I did spot a few weeks ago that someone had seen her in Epcot - I think on the character bus - but she was not on there when we saw the bus.

She is on the Disney Magic, however she is very elusive. I only saw a few character meet pictures displayed so I know she appeared at one time, but never saw her myself. The rest of the characters were out at least every night if not during the day in different outfits.

We met her at Animal Kingdom, beside Triceratop Spin, on our last trip in 2004. My DD5 was thrilled as we had met Donald earlier that day. That was the only time we have met her on all our trips though. Can't wait to be back in 2006!

I met Daisy many times on prior trips. Recently, I been having a hard time finding her, but did see her at MVMCP. Others here have said they seen her at Camp Minnie Mickey recently, and others saw her at the Character Connection at Epcot. And we seen her at MGM by the Trailers near Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. So she is DEFINATELY a meetable character, but it can take some "being in the right place at the right time" luck! I also had a CM call the "character hotline" to find Daisy, and then proceeds to tell me that Daisy wasn't doing appearances anymore! I knew that wasn't true! She gets out, but not as often as the other classics!

Yep. I believe we saw here there once in late April '04.
On our May '05 trip, we never saw her once. Went hunting and hunting to all four parks, asked cast members, looked at times guides, and nada. She was nowhere to be found in May '05.

I don't have the pictures yet (we only returned home yesterday and probably won't get our pics developed until sometime in January - PhotoPass wasn't there), but we accidently 'bumped into' her there while I was on my way to use the toilet.

There was only about 3 other [small] families there beside me and DBf. And DD was tiny!
