Does anyone know if Daisy Duck sails on the 3-day cruise? A friend of mine will be on the Nov 17th cruise and her DD would absolutely love to meet Daisy!!

M*M:D

Minnie I am so sorry to tell you this but Ducks are not allowed on the ships.
I've seen Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Capt Hook, Wendy, Chip and Dale, Alice in Wonderland and another character from Alice's story. SnowWhite and some of her buddies. Some big furry characters from Jungle Book a bear and a gorilla, sorry that was never my movie. There are more characters in the shows but still no ducks.

Daisy is always left out. It is hard to find Disney"stuff",especially clothing, with her on it!

tstobb's family recently posted some photos from their trip. Donald posed with them on semi-formal night. Never heard of anyone spotting Daisy though.

Here's our picture with Donald . Don't remember seeing Daisy on board although we have asked about her at the parks and were told that she is there only during the busier times BUT we did see her at the Magic Kingdom during our trip - maybe part of the "expanded character experience" that they're talking about so keep an eye out for her!

We saw Daisy in Beach Blanket Buffet one morning on the 4 day wonder last month. We have a picture of my daughter standing with her. I can't figure out how to insert the picture so I'll just say if you go to the trip reports board there's a thread called pictures from 9/22 cruise and you can see Daisy there.

I am very surprised, we asked on one of our cruises where Donald was and we were told no ducks allowed on board. On our 4 cruises with Disney we never saw them. I am glad to have been corrected, on our next cruise which is in 11 short days I will hunt him down.

tstobb what a beautiful family you have, thank you for sharing.

Something tells me that they were pulling your leg....why would they not be allowed? :D

Donald was on our 7 day Magic last year. Great photo ops with him on formal night. Daisy is difficult to track down...when we went to Magic Kingdom they told my DD that Daisy was out shopping! LOL!! She was the only main character that we couldn't find!!

I know Donald is on the 3 night cruises because those are all I've done so far, and I have many pictures with him.
I've never seen Daisy, but I work at a travel agency and one of the agents just got back from the 6th of October 4 night sailing and she has a pic of Daisy with her 1 year old!
She was all decked out in a pink "frock" with a big bow in her hair! I haven't seen her before, but that agent was just there, so Daisy was definately on board!
Hope that helps!

We did see Daisy on our 4 day cruise but don't remember seeing Donald. Maybe it is a hit and miss thing that she is not regularly scheduled.

I love the explanation "Ducks aren't allowed!"

When a diner at our table asked about Winnie the Pooh, our server explained that Pooh was becoming a very large star, and wanted too much money and honey to make appearences on the cruise ship, so he was not sailing with us. That made me giggle.

I can only hope Daisy sails with us Dec. 1 on the Wonder. I saw her in a MK parade 5 yrs ago, but have never had a photo op. Thanks for you info.
