daily housekeeping and turndown

We usually stay deluxe because we have AP and can get good deals. We really like turndown service which is free at the deluxe resorts.

We planned a Christmas trip too late to get a discount with our AP and have rented a ressie from a DVC member for BWV.

I have already requested daily mousekeeping at 25.00 a day, but we also want turndown service.

Will this cost over the 25.00 a day?

At the deluxes, turndown covers new towels, emptying trash, fixing beds, and leaving a chocolate.

How much would this be?
Would it make more sense to just do the turndown service and not daily housekeeping if I have to pay for both?

I've never heard of DVC offering turndown service. Maybe call the resort you will be staying at or member services.

I don't believe that you can get turndown service in a DVC resort, but I may be wrong. You could check with the front desk when you check in. Best of luck and enjoy your stay.

Turndown service is not available at the DVC Resorts.

I am noticing with 6 trips in 2005, have you ever thought about buying into DVC? Might be worth checking out this trip!!

You can do Trash and Towel service for just $10, but maybe you like the full housekeeping thing. I don't. We usually just stay three or four nights and I love not having to think about when housekeeping might need to be in the villa. And I have never heard of DVC properties offering turndown service at all.

The only place I ever had it was the Grand Floridian. It's nice but it's not worth paying for.

IMHO... it means just as soon as I get relaxed at my room housekeeping is knocking on my door LOL! I have stayed at lots of hotels with it and it doesn't do much for me, but some folks love it!
