Woke up at 0330 again today But I stayed in bed for a bit and was able to fall back asleep Till my DH decided to call me at 0715! My first thought was I got my day off wrong and it was work calling

P&PD for those in need!

I'm supposed to meet with BFF today, going shopping... maybe out to lunch

Dinner: ? maybe ham steaks on the grill? I really should get into the hang of the menu thing!!

Was up a lot with thunder and lightning in the night. Scary stuff

My beds are changed, sheets are in the washer. I need to sort the other laundry and vacuum. DH was supposed to take my car today, but he forgot (again). The garage where we get our oil changed is next door to his work. So, I'll go out and do a few things - library, grocery store, post office, possibly Target or Best Buy for Alice in Wonderland.

I also need to get cracking on the notebooks I promised my girl scouts if we didn't get incentives for the cookie sale. I told them I would make them an altered notebook if they sold over 100 boxes. I think I have 4 to make

Meeting another mom at the grocery store later this afternoon to shop for the camping trip. Have I mentioned that we're camping on Friday night? Eeeep, girl scout camp! We were sure none of the girls were going to want to camp - 15 out of 16 girls are going Guess we read them wrong!

DS up and off to school - it's his last full day of school and then he only has to go in on Thursday for one exam and he'll be finished with his junior year!

Good Morning!

Back from Disney.
Happy to be back home with the boys, but missing Disney!!!
DH & I had a great trip. He surprised me with a Magic Kingdom view room at the Poly. We were in Tahiti on the first floor-it was awesome!!! We did KTTK for the first time, ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse & California Grill, and did lots of things we don't normally get to do when the kids are with us.
Today:
Unpack & laundry from trip
Buy groceries & Alice & Wonderland
Take the kids swimming if the rain holds off
DS13-baseball game at 6pm

I had a lovely day. Started out with DH taking on the AC peoples... That was quite impressive to say the least...

I went out with BFF and had a nice day shopping and lunch... I was able, with her help, to find a really pretty dress for the wedding on Saturday... at my fav store Dress Barn Woman again... And we had a good laugh as we tried on a bunch of other things that looked great on the hanger, but not so great on us...

Now, I'm on repairman watch...DH lasted as long as he could, then it was DS18, and now my turn... I just got a call, he should be here soon...

OH my! That is nutz...maybe it's a good thing DH is gone for now..although don't hesitate to call if the repairman doesn't do the job.. hopefully you don't have to pay for this call seems this all seems to be an issue w/ the repair work itself!!!

Well, DH ended up talking to pres of the company earlier today... after he was told that no one was able to come out today by some other people... We pay for "Comfort Club" which means we pay an extra fee so we are put on the list no matter what... so how can there be no one that can come out today

The thermostat went bad... it was new 7/23/09 when we got the new ac unit...

Anyway, he got it working, but they need to order a different model thermostat, and come back... at my convience... when the new one come in...

But it's working now if needed, and that's all we care about right now!

My to do list was:

Feed cats
Write in DD's communication book
DD up and ready for school
Laundry - I literally have three Mt. Washmores going. The regular laundry pile in the bathroom, the folded piles in our bedroom, and the pile that has overtaken my loveseat
Called into work
Stop at DD for caffeination and substance.
Stopped at dry cleaners, yeah, they will have my clothes back in time for Thursday.
Pick up MomE, got the furnace guys acclimated with her basement and the hatchway. Yup, Mom's furnace blew up a week ago.
Go to funeral home with clothes
Go to florist
Go to facility about luncheon after funeral. They can't accomodate us.
Stop at bank
Stop at pediatrician office with some forms of DD's that need to be signed.
Stop at Verizon
Go to another facility to see if they can do the luncheon. Owner not in and only he does the arrangements. Leave number
Drop off MomE
Back to funeral home with last minute forgotten stuff.
Back to florist with Grumpa's Grumpy mug and beanie. The florist is going to incorporate that into the grandchildren's arrangements.
Home, ahhhhhhh
dinner
Oversee tubby time
Fold laundry while watching DVRd episodes of LOST.
You would think I would be exhausted right about now, but I am still bright eyed and bushy tailed. Time to go take something to help me sleep.
