continue working on Senior book


Today, I am using a 20 minute timmer for each page... I have to get a lot done!!!

Yeah, it's been crazy here! 5 weeks left of school and counting!!!!! Then we have until June 27th off. Summer camps and stuff ramp up after that.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to go to the PO and drop off Montana BFF's birthday gift and Memere's mothers day cards. Gave mom her B'day cards Sunday.

I miss my peeps!!! I'll be so glad when track season is over. DS15 should find out today if he qualified for ECC's. I think he did in the 800 but we're not sure.

Sock outlet? I have a foot fetish, between shoes and socks, I can't get enough! Have fun!

My cough is definitely better, but the pain in my ribs is *really* bad. I'm sure it's just a muscle pull, and there isn't really any treatment for it, so I'm mainlining ibuprofen and alternating icing and heating.

We have a girl scout meeting tonight. Working on finalizing our Breathe journey with a presentation board and planting azaleas at the Youth Center to thank them for allowing us to have our meetings there this year.

Dinner is fend for yourself/find leftovers that you like. Big Bang Theory finale tonight!

So my little sister talked me into going with her to see my gma. she slept in the chair. She's not really there anymore, she "looked" at me alot but she didnt see me. she yelled at my sister when she said hi to her. my aunts are treating her like an infant which makes her cranky, you can tell, I guess she told them they were crappy nurses. she was in obvious pain and the nurse was still only a few doors down with the meds cart, Aunt #1 went to get her Aunt #2 said she can wait, I said she looks in pain now, Aunt #2 told me like a 5 year old that she had cancer in her whole body and that it hurt Good thing it was time to leave.

Ohh and the battle over her belongings has begun, guess it started at the gathering on sunday. she doesn't have anything anymore worth anything. she was robbed 2x in the last 15 years. I have in my possesion the majority of her pictures, she gave them to me 7 years ago for safe keeping. I was asked about them. offered up copies

So there is my family drama for the week. Hopefully she will pass quickly and be out of pain soon. Oh and there wont be a service of any kind, my aunts dont want to think about such things.

yes my scrapping is non-existant for a bit ....going to ask my massage therapist tomorrow if there is any exercise , etc I can do to help it along or if its better to let it rest

Copies of the photos are a wonderful idea, That way you can preserve the originals for future generations.

I have a so-called Aunt (yea, not what any of the family calls her now)... I was one of the lucky ones, I got what was promised to me by my Granny (old bedroom suit)...but others did not.. the old bitty torched the trailer my grandparents lived in w/ people's items still in there..... Crazy bat!! To this day I have never spoken to her again... lots of hurt feelings but she'll be a lonely ol' bitty by herself...

Come to think of it, same things happened on Dad's side too...but I got the one thing I wanted most... a mirror....that was very important...and I got all the genealogical information and then some..and I will NOT share!!! (well, at least not originals)

Hehe i knew ya'll would agree with me. My mom is holding all photos hostage unless they give her the sewing machines and sewing stuffs. She's the only one who sews. Sheesh people im staying out of it.

Rachal - i am sorry that death can often bring out the worst in family. I was fortunate when my mom passed last Sept not to have this experience, but when my dh's mother passed, he received nothing, the other 6 siblings did. I was so proud of him for saying nothing about it to them, and it was not easy either.
Hoping that the few momentos you and your mother want will be passed along to you. Hugs
