Morning! Sorry I've been MIA

My Furbaby is maintaining, which is actually better than can be expected. My DH built her a chair so she can be held in the begging position for eating and drinking (:thumbsup2 he did a great job). She has to stay in that position for 20min post a meal. She gets squirmy in it now that she is feeling better, but she stays pretty well. The kids call it Maggie's Torture Chair :rotfl2: But it's not uncomfortable, and she gets puppy pets the whole time she is in it... she just gets bored. She has taken to watching Bravo with me :lmao:

These dogs either do well with watered down dog food, or meatballs. I found a recipe online for making her some dog food balls that she is tolerating well. And I think we have the meds right for now. She is being her happy old self again, if a bit thinner from wear. The initial crisis and the resulting worry are over. So, this is a new normal for us, and we are all working together. Prognosis for dogs with this condition is poor, but we have a vet that understands the diagnosis and is willing to try anything to keep her comfortable. :worship:

Good Morning :)

I'm still trying to get back to the normal routine after vacation ;)

Deb--glad to hear things are a bit better, sorry about the yucky diagnosis though

Christy--my older DD has a nasty attitude too! I'm looking for some manual labor for her to do tonight

Up
Walk for 30 mins (before it snows--so I'd better go soon)
Errands to Michael's and Target
Laundry--spring clothes that have been in winter storage
Work on school swap
Dinner???
Watch Survivor

Have a great day all :goodvibes

Good Morning.

After a few hours at the ER last night I am off for the day. The baby is fine. But they dont know what is causing this nasty pain, could be a cyst, could be the way the baby is sitting, its under a large blood vessel, could be stress. They didnt have all the right equipment in the ER and a glitch with the insurance that I have to figure a way around today so I can get in to see my dr.

So its rest. I got a note!

the Sitter is here to keep the girls busy, its a sunny day so they will be heading out. Soon as they are all up and moving.

Rachal--take it easy! Pamper yourself & the baby today ;)

Thanks, I am thinking about a shower and a nap. and ts only 10am. Girls are watching a movie with the sitter. they are going swimming soon as DD #1 gets up. whenever that is.

I'm sure my boss thinks i just wanted out of the meeting this morning. :rotfl: as much as i didnt want to listen to it. I wouldnt go to the ER just to get out of it.

Cheryl manual labor is a big mood changer in my house!!! it's amazing after day 2 how poof it's gone.

Rachel lay low and tough on the boss.

Debbie glad to hear things are evening out.

taking a few mins of me time before i get back to the quilt work was a bear..... and I'm tired.

Rebecca, have a great trip!
Christy & Cheryl, good luck with the attitudes.
Deb, I'm glad the pup is feeling better even if she isn't well.
Rachal, take care of yourself and that darling baby. Get lots of rest!

It was a long work day today. It was truck day at Michaels which is always a busy and tiring day. DH is out of town so I have to wait up for DS to get home. Tomorrow is opening night of their spring musical, Hairspray, so they will be rehearsing late tonight (and last night and Monday night). I'm sure I'll be taking a catnap while waiting for DS to get home! He gets to shave his legs tonight and I bought him some pantyhose to wear in the show!

Have a good evening!

Deb, so glad to hear the furbaby is feeling better.
Rachal, your poor baby, and you too. Hope that gets taken care of soon!!
Cheryl and Christy, hope the kids lose the 'tudes. And if you figure out how to make it stop, send the procedure to me.
DiT, tell DS to break a leg.

Life has been just a whirl wind. DD's liver enzymes had been up, fortunately it has dropped down within acceptable levels. She is starting to eat a bit. She has lost so much weight, I had to clean out her closet and get clothes that fit. I am hoping life get back onto a more even keel, whatever that is. :rotfl2:

My to do today:

wood in the woodstove - a brisk 36 degrees out there this morning.
feed my furbabies
wash dishes
whiddle away at Mt. Washmore
bring sneakers to walk at lunch time - no go, the boss called for a working lunch.
work
bank
reschedule massage
stop for gas
research where Disney is going on their NYC cruise :thumbsup2
work on new genealogy - had hit a major roadblock for a long time, then bam, hot two new leads on two different branches of DH's family.

Sooooo bored. Haha laying in bed is not much fun. Girls stayed outta my hair most of the day.

So excited about the cruises out of Seattle!!! Looks like our Christmas 2011 trip is being postponed for a 2012 cruise.:cool1: Alaska is not my #1 destination. but I will take it. :woohoo:

Rachel - you take care of yourself. You might remember from last October when i asked for pixie dust for my dd who was on bedrest for 10 weeks before my dgd arrived. You can do it!!! Sending much pixe dust along to you too.
