Good Morning!!! Up way to early this morning! Only two days left of work in 2012 though!! Yeah!!!! No shots!!! Yeah!! My stomach is one huge purple bruise from the previous injections (and being on blood thinners apparently makes you bruise easier). I feel for people who have these injections for their whole lives. Oh my!!

Good Luck if any of you are in the middle of all of this snow. I believe we should get a little but not much! Be careful!!

Prayers and Pixie Dust for those in need, Sandy Hook still weighs heavy on my heart as well.

Michelle, for no more shots!! Yes, definitely on blood thinners you will bruise easier. DH has to have injections for his MS every day... so if he doesn't get it just right, he will bruise.. After 5 years he is pretty good at it..but he does still miss every once in a while and he sees it.. Luckily, he has a 7 day rotation and multiple areas he can place the injection per area.

Have you ever had the day where you have a ton to do and then have to just throw your hands in the air and say forget it! That was yesterday...

load dishwasher (I was so fed up last night I didn't move off the couch)

DS16 text when he arrives (will text him and let him know if he can drive home or not; looks like he can the sn*w isn't coming in til later... he hasn't driven in sn*w yet).
pull information to battle insurance company who says a PCP is NOT valid but no idea which one... and if it is an "URGENT" matter why do you put it on a post card in the mail when 1. you have DH's email; 2. you have DH's employer number; 3. you have DH's phone numbers both work and home...
DH to call and get that PCP situation taken care of (not going to be happy if anyone has to change PCP). ~awaiting call back as "they are overwhelmed with calls".. Well, if you are that overwhelmed hire more staff!
wrap gifts (must be done today; I'm over it)
make grocery list/shopping list
make list of cookies to work on afterschool with the kids today
mail last of Christmas cards today (I have put it off long enough)
try to work on PCRC... it's in stages....I keep changing things... errrr.. I need to stop!
make list of chores for kids tomorrow so we are not doing much over the weekend
check weather forecast and try to get to Zoo this weekend


I know there is more but I can't think this morning.. had a crazy dream last night that has kind of made me think..wth! LOL

Glad today is the last day of the school year... looking forward to seeing how the boys did for grades.. DD did well..not dean's list but she is beating herself up so we haven't said a word other than.. we are proud of you!

DS had a nightmare last night and came to crawl into bed with me. I thought those days were over, but with everything happening lately it was nice to have him want to be with me. Its no wonder he had one, with the Sandy Hook tragedy last week and now the nonsense news coverage about the end of the world tomorrow. Enough is enough.

Hopefully an easy day today.

Clean up sugar and sprinkle mess from last night. Made chocolate covered pretzels and left the decorating to DS8. He was tossing "the magic of Christmas" as he put it, all over them.....and the counter......and the chair......and the floor. There was "magic" everywhere.

Put wrapping paper and supplies back into closet - I'm done! I'm officially down to one container of paper tubes....down from three at the beginning of the season. DH said I needed to use up what I had before I bought any more.....silly boy!

I've been to three stores already this morning. Forgot we didn't have any full size sheets for the new sleep sofa, so I went to Kohl's this morning to get a pair. Got everything for breakfast for Christmas Morning at the grocery store and got the last gift card at Target. (FYI - If anyone needs iTunes, Walmart.com has a $50 one for $40 - it's an e-card).

So...I'm going to be really peeved if the world ends tomorrow. I plan on wrapping this morning. I will be so angry if I waste all day wrapping and it's all over tomorrow

DH is coming home early to finish (hopefully) his shopping. I'm so over it all. He better take me to lunch. No idea what we'll have for dinner.

Have to toss the sheets in the washer and get to wrapping.

I am going to try the daily grind to see if it keeps me focused and on task.

First and foremost I hope to hear on my job interview from last week. I interviewed for a new position at the museum where I work and they always move at a dinosaur's pace (no pun intended) when hiring. So cross your fingers, toes, and anything else that will cross!
Second, homeschool DS, we need to get literature, math, science, and SS done.
Make a list of holiday baking needs
Watching 4 month old nephew in the pm, I get my baby fix!
Heading to a local art museum for a winter solstice party, I am hoping the snow starts to fall before the party ends...how beautiful!

So arm is still sore from Tdap shot and I feel like *rap from it. I know that by sunday it will be gone but I'm sooooo praying for a snow day tomorrow. This is my typical reaction to this shot. Eric's feeling the same way so I know he'd love a day off.

Left to do finish the present sort and make list of who still needs what. Mostly stocking stuffers at this point. Tom has to do a few things for the parts of the big presents and I need to print him coupons for J's for my stocking stuffers.

Dinner is left overs and Tom has a meeting for budget review tonight. The boyd and I are doing early bedtimes! Dinner in front of TV then crash!

Good afternoon

I been working on painting T-shirts
iron-on too - goofed one to those up so I need to go to Wal-mart for more of the paper (don't want to go)
I did the Swirly Mickeyhead on the painted one - just got done adding glow-in-the-dark to the Mickeyheads so they should be really cute. still need to add it to the name in the back of the shirts (except for the Men's shirts - DH didn't want it on his)
ran the carpet cleaner over the boys room again - still needs more work

thinking of cutting on some swiming Mickey & Friends since it is cold & I want

I did pick up paycheck & go over to the grocery store & got a $250 gift card to pay on Diseny trip - love that I can do that to pay off Disney alittle at a time - just got to pay it tomorrow since it won't work the day I buy it (if I did the 25 cards - those work day of but not the one where you pick the amoount)

good luck on job, snow (or no snow depending on what you want) kids behaving, , - what else?? my mind went blank

I picked up socks, even found some star wars ones for DBF, small umbrellas for the girls, movie gift cards, a little bit of candy. Need to find something else for DS since he doesnt care about gift cards

I may grab a few little lego sets this week if I find some.

I need to get DBF a stress ball couldnt find one at target and need to find him one of those head scratchers. I think they have them at BBB.

Christy, I hate wrapping with a white hot burning passion. It's a monumental waste of time. I always put it off until I'm done (or nearly anyway) shopping, because I don't want to waste more time than necessary. I got most of what *I* had to wrap done today (my family's stuff, Morgan's stuff and her and my mom's stocking stuffers). DH's stocking stuffers and all the stuff from/to his family (he's going to help if he likes it or not) need to be done.

We got almost everything we needed. I don't know his brother's girlfriend anymore than he does, but he wanted me to go along. Fine...it's done now. We buy for ourselves (and his brother and girlfriend and Morgan) from his parents, so I do need to go spend about $60 tomorrow or Saturday. I think I need Create A Critter 2 and something else. (I already got myself a new bowl for the Kitchen Aid).

Danielle, "the magic of Christmas!" How stinkin' cute is that? Is Big Bang new tonight? I just placed an order with SYT. $50 worth of paper. Where on earth am I going to hide it?!

Congrats Brandi!!! The Museum is lucky to have you!!! WE are hoping to get that direction while the kids are on break... my kids still love it there at 19, 16 and 12... and I do too... It's tradition to see the train!!!
