DL Website has finally updated the entertainment calendar and is listing fireworks everyday through January 19! Could this mean that daily fireworks will continue through the entire anniversary celebration?:yay::cloud9:

That would be unusual based on history, but given the crowds in the park and the popularity of the new show, anything is possible. It will be interesting to see what happens going forward.

Perhaps with f! closing for the refurb, they decided they needed something more at night than just PTN?

Do they compensate the residents who live around DL for the inconvenience.

At 7pm on the weekdays, it is not too much of an inconvenience. I was born and raised 4 miles from DL and could see the fireworks from my window. You get used to it. It is like a clock for the locals.

I don't think it necessarily has to do with the loss of F! because F! would have normally been on a weekends only schedule during the non-peak season (same as fireworks). The only time F! ran nightly during the non-peak season was when WoC was down for a refurbishment/upgrade. I generally think they're doing it because the show is proving to be very popular and they're hoping to distribute the crowds a little (i.e., have some folks see on the weekday instead of everyone cramming in to see it on the weekends).

No, not in any monetary fashion if that's what you mean. DLR must have negotiated some deal with the City of Anaheim to have fireworks for more than the normal number of nights in 2015 and 2016. It'll be interesting to see whether nightly fireworks continue through the Spring when sunset/full dark gets later and later.

I guess it would be like living next to a train or a freeway. After awhile you don't hear them anymore.
Are the fireworks at 7 pm?
