DD9 and I will be staying at the Dolphin June 17-22. I will be driving her to Camp SeaWorld every morning at about 7:30, and I plan to return to WDW at opening time. I will be picking her up at 5:00 pm. Is the traffic going to be manageable? Any tips or routes that would avoid most of the traffic? I'm most concerned about the mornings, as I am looking forward to getting to the parks early at this time of year.Any advice would be most greatly appreciated!

Exit WDW through Downtown Disney via Hotel Plaza Blvd. Go left at the exit traffic signal signal at Apooka- Vineland (rte 535) and immediately get in the right lane as you will be turning right at the very next traffic light onto Palm Pkwy. After going about 2 - 2.5 miles on Palm Pkwy. you'll come to another traffic signal for the Central Florida Parkway. Turn right here (the only way possible) and the Sea World entrances are only about a half a mile down this road.

Thanks #1 Titans Fan-just what I wanted. I'm printing it as I type!

...is this a silly question? You said that you will be dropping off your DD every A.M? Doesn't she want to go to any of the WDW parks??? (curiosity got the best of me!!!) And why wouldn't you accompany her to Camp SeaWorld??? (again, just curious:rolleyes: )

Hey kimmar067-
OK, I can see why you might be curious. On our trips to Sea World , when hearing about the various cool educational summer programs offered, we would always be saying"that would be SO awesome", but knowing we could never really afford a trip just to go to one of them. Well, we found some awesome airfare, $122 direct out of Raleigh, and it seemed like this was our opportunity. So DD9 gets her wish to go to camp at Seaworld, and I get to do WDW to my heart's content(.We have been very fortunate to have taken several short trips to WDW this year, the rest of the family tends to get"disney'd out" --DH and DH enjoy WDW when we go, but would prefer a vacation in the Keys or the Gulf Coast.) When I pick her up at 5 every day, we'll do the things she wants to do at WDW if she's not too tired, at a more relaxed pace, since I will have gotten my ya-yas out during the day. It's just too unbelievably exciting and perfect!DD is SO excited!
She is totally into animals, and this will be like heaven for her!(I'll be floating myself!)
