I have an annual passport, whereas H2B doesn't. When it comes to settling the bill, is it OK if he pays using his credit card? It is habit that he pays, as for the last two years I have been a student, and he earns a wee bit more than me ;-)

Yes i renewed our passes on wednesday and used my card to pay no problem.

The only thing i was annoyed about was i knew i would probably re new so in april i went to the pass port office to get the details and we were told when you re new you get 6 months free as a bonus.
I made sure i could get the family discount 20% for buying 5 passes and that i could get the 15% shareholder pass too.

So before we left i also printed out the page from the shareholders page saying you could get family and shareholder discount toether, i also sent them an e mail for confirmation as last year we were told that you could no longer get the 2 discounts as it had been stopped. but i made a fuss so were given it in the end as a good will gesture. so i planned it all so this wouldnt happen again only to be told that i couldnt have my shareholders discount and the bonus 6 months free for renewal!!!!:mad:

we only went on this trip on these dates so we could renew our passes and get the 6 months free so i was really peeved!

We either had to choose the 6 months free or get our 15% shareholders discount :headache:
I went for the 6 months free so i ended up paying over 100E more than i had planned on as i thought that was the best option overall. My oh kept saying at least we got 6 months for cheap but i said yes but we should have got it for free as that was what we were told. :(

unfortunately in this case, DLP were right - you have to choose which privilege works better for you - either get the 6 months free, or use your 15% shareholders discount when you renew (and in your case, the 20% family discount). You can't have both.

i did think it was too good to be true lol
but after we were told we would get it and budgeting for that amaount it was disappointing not to get it IYKWIM

The AP office has mixed reviews from us

When we bought our 5 Dream AP's we received sponsorship of 1 and buy 1 get a under 7 year old free x 2

The following year we renewed with 20% family discount and 6 months free

The following year we were advised on our arrival day that we could have 20% family idscount and 6 months free - we were tired so said we would be back later in the week - went back on our leaving day and were advised that we couldn't have 20% family discount and 6 months free together - the CM had made a mistake and it was tough.

Didn't bother renewing as we were not going back for a few months - thanks to this forum, bought 5 shares as 20% family discount and shareholders can be used together. Bought 5 again last August with both discounts.
