We received a bunch of daffodil bulbs as a housewarming present. They came last Friday. Unfortunately we've had snow on the ground for over a week and I'm thinking I might not be able to dig into the ground.
What would you do? These are some suggestions I've gotten: Should I put them in the freezer and try forcing them in a pot in early spring? Should I put them in some mulch and lay them out where I would have planted them? Try like crazy to dig holes for them through the "frozen tundra ;) "?
Please give me you suggestions!

If you can still get a shovel in the dirt, you should pop them in the ground. I just put some in last weekend but the ground isnt frozen yet here.

You could pot them up and put them in your garage. Then when spring comes they will already be sprouting and you can plant them outside.

So glad you asked this question. I just found a paper bag with 2 bags of bulbs in it!! Somehow they got mixed in with a Christmas present for DHs step-sister. At least I found them now rather than at the end of January when we have our "Christmas" with them.
