Daddy Day Care

I just took the kids to see Daddy Day Care and I have say I was a bit dissappointed.

I LOVE Eddie Murphy and everything he has done, but this movie just didn't seem to impress me and I love kids movies. My 5 yr old asked a few times when it would end and my 11 yr old said it was "just ok". There were definitely funny moments, but nothing "feel good" about it for me. I like to leave the movie feeling like I really enjoyed it, but not today. I also love to buy them when they come out if it's that good. Sadly, we have no desire to own this one.

I thought Eddie Murphy was trying to play a straight man. I didn't work in this movie. It was good and I laughed but not his best work.

I went to the drive-in Saturday night. Bruce Almighty was the first movie (very good I thought) and Daddy Day Care was the second movie. I left halfway through it. I was bored. I also love Eddie Murphy, but this one just didn't hold my attention. I was really excited to see it too. What a let down.

It felt like a cheap knock-off of Kindergarten Cop. It's a good movie to see on cable, but not really worth the price at the theater.

I have not seen it yet but my daughters thought it was quite funny.... of course they are Eddie Murphy fans..

Wow a Drive- in! How fun. All ours are long gone, mostly turned into shopping centers. We used to have such a great time at a local one when I was in high school. Everyone from our school would go to the left side! Such a party place. Sorry, now back to the real topic, just a little trip down memory lane for me!
