Da Vinci Code

I thought it was good, but not as good as the book.
This is what I am hoping to think when I go. :)
I loved all the Dan Brown books, especially Angels and Demons, I think they are going to make a film about this next.

I enjoyed it. Although I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had not read the book.

Definetly not as good as the book IMO.

Thanks Florence, I am definitely going to give the film a miss and read the book when I'm on holiday :thumbsup2

Haven't read the book, but I don't think I can resist a film that has 'contains flagellation' as one of its parental guidance warnings :lmao:

I'm off to see it this afternoon, will let you know what I think.

I went to see the film yesterday and I did enjoy it overall but it didn't grip you the way the book does, it did seem to drag a bit in the middle. I agree that there did not seem to be any chemistry between the 2 main characters. I have read the book, and maybe if I hadn't the film would have been a bit more exciting, or maybe it would have been a bit harder to understand. Not really sure, but I enjoyed it anyway and my hubbie did too, and he is very critical and hard to please with regards to films.
