I had an email from D23 that they updating membership terms but most of it mainly applies to D23 gold members but nothing mentioned about new terms of the free D23 general membership

I'll copy and pasted the following below from my email

Introducing three (3) new D23 Gold Membership plans and pricing and removing the D23 Gold Duo Membership plan option;

Adding information on new Gold Membership benefits and premium item choices;

Clarifying how your current D23 Gold Membership plan will renew in 2025 (please note that your current plan purchased or renewed in 2024 will remain unchanged until your 2025 renewal date, including if you have a D23 Gold Duo Membership plan);

Updating the way D23 Gold Member gift recipients can redeem a Membership plan that is no longer available; and

Introducing information for D23 Gold Members on the availability of the digital and print versions of Disney twenty-three publication.

I know they going to be charging for printed D23 publications in 2025 for gold D23 members.

With the 3 new Gold Plans, the highest tier gets all of the special D23 merch. Is $300 worth it for the year? The 99.99 comes with at least 1 of the gifts

Me neither. I do not like digital I still get our local paper delivered and buy paper books.

Think of it this way: You're basically paying $50 over the lowest tier Gold plan to get the 1 gift you most want. $200 more for the higher tier works out to $67 per other gift. Are they worth that much to you?

My gold Duo memberships lapsed this year, and I as just looking into renewing. Better to wait till Jan so I can get that sweet Spirit Jersey
